Products that do what 2 Day old project, now #2 user of Ethereum does
I founded the first blockchain certificate of deposit. I'm surprised that it became so popular so fast, I hope it doesn't cryptokitties the network. The marketing looks like a scam. I know everyone is a bit burned out on blockchain and cryptocurrency related stuff around these parts, but I've been working on as a side project for the last few months and thought you guys might be interested: https://cryptoempire.io/ It's still a bit buggy and incomplete (the mobile ux needs a lot of work, the leaderboard isn't functional yet, etc.), but I've reached a point where I'm not totally ashamed of sharing it :) Any feedback would be most welcome!

Hi guys, I've written the first proof-of-mistake crypto token on top of Ethereum. You can see it at http://www.lostethereum.com/ It's basically a proof-of-burn substitute for users who mistakenly sent to the wrong address. It requires a web3 enabled browser, i.e chome with MetaMask, Parity, Mist, etc. This let's the web interface seamlessly interact with the Ethereum network. Let me know what you guys think.

Getting web3 data out of Ethereum nodes or node services is excruciatingly slow (at least days if not weeks). I had wanted a way to just download the blocks quickly since I started exploring the web3 space. Took me a bunch of trial and errors to get to a way where I can parse all the blocks since genesis within 12 hours. But, instead of moving on to the next thing, I put this service together over the last few days, so everyone can benefit.

Hey HN, I’m Kamil and one of the two people working on WalletWatch. We recently graduated college and have been getting more into crypto / web3 over the past year. A few of our friends had been getting into crypto more recently, but we noticed that it was hard to actually see what they were doing or natively engage with the transactions they were committing. Products like blockchain.com and etherscan.com were too technical, and products like Context or Zerion lacked key features that make modern products social, such as descriptions, likes, and comments. We built WalletWatch as an…

Like in the movies when they show a current newspaper, but easier and safer. I use as seed the last mined ethereum block, and I show it in a fancy way.

Hi HN, I'm the creator of epress. After a lot of work, I'm excited (and a bit nervous) to finally share it with you. For years, I've been feeling like a digital tenant on the platforms I use every day. My content, my social graph, my online identity—they were all stored on someone else's servers, subject to their rules, algorithms, and business models. I could be de-platformed, my data could be sold, or an API I relied on could suddenly be put behind a paywall. I looked into existing decentralized alternatives. While many are great projects, I found they often shifted the trust from a big…

I built this site to make it really easy to put cryptocurrency in the hands of people who know nothing about it. It's an MVP, and I have a laundry list of enhancements/feature requests/things I want to do. Still, any non-obvious feedback is welcome. https://cointipping.com
