Products that do what A cartoon intro to how the attention mechanism works does
I started to draw cartoons to make complex concepts in AI more accessible to the rest of us. Hope this is useful & lmk if you have ideas or feedback!

Was so sick of reading walls of codex/claude prose, in markdown plans and just in the chat, that I started playing with ideas that force coding agents to display information differently. The human visual cortex is an amazing thing, and getting coding agents to let me use it has been pretty nice so far. Been iterating on this a lot internally for the last few months, polishing and mostly removing stuff.

I was frustated by having to draw system design diagrams by hand when discussing it with my team mates or in an interview. So I thought "Wouldn't it be great if someone draws it for me, while I think out loud?". That is when I came up with VoiceDraw. You can just think out loud or discuss your system architecture with a friend/interviewer, the diagrams are automatically drawn along with your reasoning, open questions and tradeoffs beautifully written on to the side. I really struggle to keep my notes organised, and often can't make any sense of hand written notes after meetings. I did some experiments with Claude and ChatGPT where I blast random thoughts at them during a meeting or brainstorming session and then have them output a nice document that pulls it all together at the end. It worked incredibly well but it was a bit cumbersome to keep sending messages to the chat and telling the ai each time what to do. So I took the idea and built a tool, it makes it easy to throw random notes and voice recordings (images and document support on the way) and…

I've created an interactive tutorial that teaches how AI models work. I set myself the goal of making it approachable enough that my 11 year old son Isaac can fully understand it. The tutorial aims to be easily understood by anyone who understands basic math, and yet give them a deep intuitive sense of not just how AI works but why it works the way it does. It does this using a series of interactive playgrounds that let the reader play with each idea. Currently there are 9 chapters, starting from scratch and ending with transformers. I'm planning to keep adding more chapters until the…

Hi HN, I’ve been tinkering with this for a while and finally have it in a decent state. It’s a plotter robot that draws caricatures from photos. I trained a diffusion model (Flux Kontext LoRA) on caricature images, 3D-printed a Sharpie mount for my Ender 3, and hacked together a pipeline that goes photo → caricature → G-code. After a lot of trial and error it’s working pretty well, and I put up a little site where you can try it out. Happy to answer questions or hear any feedback. Thanks!

Hey HN, I built Blooming, a visual AI workspace where you drag-and-drop “nodes” (text, image, video) onto a whiteboard and chain AI text, image and video models together. It's kinda like n8n but for AI art: • Node-based canvas • Multi-model switching (test different models side by side and iterate multiple versions) • Pipe text or image output to other nodes to refine prompts, turn them into videos or explain images Demo link: https://youtu.be/TdFzhxeRFNg I’d love your feedback on UI clarity, performance, and which models to integrate next. What’s confusing or missing for AI…

I was struggling to understand neuroscience and the word associations between technical terms and where the locations are (anatomically) And quite some of my neuroscience friends are loving it.
