Products that do what A little go program to git tag the next tag you need does

I got sick of watching my github actions page waiting for a step to complete before tagging the next step. You set three env vars: os.Getenv("GITHUB_TOKEN") os.Getenv("WORKFLOW_POLLER_OWNER") os.Getenv("WORKFLOW_POLLER_REPO") And then run ./workflow-poller and it will keep polling github api (ListRepositoryWorkflowRuns) for your current `git rev-parse HEAD` value and status == "completed". https://github.com/andrewarrow/workflow-poller/

I built a tool which you can use to visualise your git commits at an org or repository level. It shows just how much work an engineering team, or even an individual does, that often goes unseen by non-dev teams. You can read about the build here: https://ably.com/blog/visualize-your-commits-in-realtime-wit... Repo is here: https://github.com/ably-labs/github-commit-visualizer You can deploy your own to netlify (or provider of your choice) and start visualising your own project's commits in realtime.

Hi HN, I built a simple tool that summarizes your team’s git logs into a weekly update that teams can send to leaders, other teams, etc. I hated writing the same update multiple times a week to everyone asking “what’s the status of X” Copy your repo’s commit logs with git log —all —since=“1 week ago”, paste them, and get a well-formatted update. Planning to add Github integration to further automate. Curious what folks think.

I finally got fed up with making work + personal Git repos work on my machine. Ever clone a work repository and accidentally make commits using your personal email? Or forget how to make your work repos use your work SSH key? Yeah... same. So I built the tool I've always wanted. GitPersona - a CLI tool for managing many git profiles on a single machine. Shoutout to my boy Codex for helping me finally ship this.
