Products that do what AI News app to fight misinformation does

The Problem: Social media platforms such as X, Facebook, and Reddit have become the primary news sources for most individuals. These platforms are designed to maximize engagement and provide information that reinforces existing biases. The mass adoption of these platforms has contributed to highly polarized societies and widespread misinformation and hate. Drooid’s Approach: Drooid tackles misinformation and bias by providing all sides of news stories. It gathers articles from various journalistic sources, processes them, and then generates short news summaries, around 60 words, which cover…

I got tired of reading clickbait articles and seeing irrelevant ads. So I pulled in a few RSS feeds to create a news digest using OpenAI 4o-mini for summarisation. Appreciate any feedback you'all might have. PS: News-summarisation may have been done to death, but I'm a UI noob, so I'm using this project to learn some.

Hey folks! This is a project that I've been working in my free time for the past few months. It's a news aggregator that uses AI to select relevant articles and summarize them. The default sources are frameworks and libraries' updates, popular HN topics, and languages' subreddits threads that make past a certain threshold. You can run a local instance (needs an OpenAI key) and customize it with your own sources, and adjust the prompt as well. The resulting website can be browsed at https://dev-radar.com/ My next experiment will be with local news. I'm building some feeds with…

http://newspo.st/dev-preview.html I'd like to hear some feedback about this App I've been working on lately. It's exactly what everyone tells you not to do: a "news app", but I strongly believe this one is different: News are ranked by real-time Twitter popularity, you can see what people says on Twitter about a specific topic and you can download full articles as well. I think personalization narrows the scope of articles you can come across, while sometimes it's good to read about stuff that matters to everyone. The first raw version of the app is now available on iTunes. If…
