Products that do what Airstrip – An open-source platform to build and use internal AI apps does
Hey everyone, my cofounder and I are building Airstrip - https://github.com/hendychua/airstrip. Airstrip helps you manage your company's use of AI by providing a platform to integrate with your desired AI services and build internal AI apps for your employees. Here's a quick demo video: https://youtu.be/WREhMJMZmJA As AI usage becomes more common, companies want to carefully regulate which AI services they use and control what data is being sent to ensure data security and compliance. Building and using internal apps that use AI to streamline operations is…

Hi everyone, Airstrip is an open-source platform for users to build internal AI agents. We've made some major changes since our last release. - Improved chat experience with a memory layer: For this, we are using Mem0. This can be configured when creating the agent. - Notion-style editing to configure agent: A sleeker UI and a familiar editing experience for our users. - Encrypted API keys and only decrypted at the point of usage. We are using Infisical to store our encryption keys, ensuring greater security. - Add knowledge bases to chat assistants. We are using Unstructured to handle the…

Hey HN, I didn't want my Gateway 4DX2-66 from 1993 to be left out of the AI revolution, so I built an AI Assistant for Windows 3.1, based on the OpenAI API. The most interesting parts of building this were: - Getting TLS 1.2 and 1.3 working on Windows 3.1 so that WinGPT could directly connect to OpenAI's server without relying on a modern machine for TLS termination. - Learning about the memory segmentation architecture on 16-bit Windows, including the difference between far and near pointers. - Building the UI in plain C code with the Windows API and limited selection of controls in Windows…

Hi, founders! We’ve actually launched quite some time ago, but (semi)pivoted a few times along the way. Jet Admin is an app builder for creating internal tools, admin panels, dashboards, external portals, and so on without coding. You can connect to any backend, assemble a UI through the visual builder, and set up data binding, transformations, conditionals, etc. through the point-and-click interface. If you need to, you can create custom HTTP, SQL queries, make data transformations with JS, and embed custom UI components. We believe that product, data, operations teams should be able to…

Hey HN, we're Lennert and Rauf. We’re building Airweave (https://github.com/airweave-ai/airweave), an open-source tool that lets agents search and retrieve data from any app or database. Here’s a general intro: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFI-7SYGQ48, and here’s a longer one that shows more real-world use cases, examples of how Airweave is used by Cursor (0:33) and Claude desktop (2:04), etc.: https://youtu.be/p2dl-39HwQo A couple of months ago we were building agents that interacted with different apps and were frustrated when they…
