Hi HN! This is a trail companion web app (think AllTrails) I hacked together in a couple weeks time. I was inspired to create this project while training for an extended backpacking trip. My motivation was to create a UI tailored exactly to my liking, and to be able to track my progress along the trail without draining my battery. I also wanted to experiment with PWA technologies. I made SABR - an AI model that helps you visualize the beta/technique on any route, based on your body parameters. You can input a video of you climbing any route, in any orientation or lighting condition (it's truly versatile!). SABR then creates a virtual avatar of your body shape and uses it to climb the route you're climbing. Then, you can compare/contrast. Ambulate was created because planning hiking trips using spreadsheets and various map solutions got chaotic. I wanted an app to manage and map multi day trip itineraries in the outdoors/backcountry. Features - Manage itineraries - Add activities and map markers - Add routes (upload GPX or plot by hand on map) - Desktop and mobile It is free to try (login using Google or create a user). Alternatively the slides on the home page give an idea of the UI. I'll appreciate any thoughts and feedback you care to share:)

I'm working on a GPS track visualizer for quite some time. It shines in hilly and mountaineous terrain (where a 3D view makes more sense), but it also offers quite a lot of Strava-like features (statistics etc.). You can upload your GPX and FIT files manually, or sync directly with Garmin, Coros and Polar. See https://cubetrek.com for the live app and check out some examples there. It's free and opens source. A couple of months ago, I built this app to help identify people stuck under rubble. First responders have awesome tools. But in tough situations, even common folks need to help. After what happened in Myanmar, we need something like this that works properly. It has only been tested in controlled environments. It can also be improved; I know BLE is not _that_ effective under rubble. If you have any feedback or can contribute, don't hold back.

I'm working on https://cubetrek.com, a web app to manage, visualize and compare your running, hiking, mountainbiking, skiing... activities. Some features include: a github-style calendar heatmap, 3D visualization of tracks (especially useful for hill climbs and mountaineous terrain in general), a world map displaying all your activities at once.
