So a while ago I was thinking it would be neat to build a site that had the most absolute utility. The idea I came up with was a site to store those little protips that are super useful, if you know them ahead of time. I hired a guy to work on it with me, and ClueDB was born: http://cluedb.com/ Please give it a whirl (it uses Twitter auth as login but doesn't tweet anything) and tell me what you think! Hello HN, I like Ansible as a tool for automation to perform tasks on multiple remote hosts. But like many of you, I'm sick of the custom YAML DSL that many of this kind of tools provide. How many times have we said "just give me a true scripting language!" ? That's why I started this project `tricorder` (as in Star Trek's tricorder, a simple device to do pretty much anything required by the plot). I built this because I like learning infrastructure with Terraform. Things like provisioning an EC2 instance with SSH may look simple on the console since it's just checking a checkbox, but in Terraform, this requires users knowing a lot more concepts, which I see as an alternative way for hands-on learning. There are currently 54 questions regarding AWS+Terraform on the platform. No AWS accounts are required from users. I'd appreciate your feedback!
