Products that do what Anthropic React Native Client does

I recently published a new package on npm that brings the Anthropic APIs to React Native without polyfills. The library supports chat streaming and normal chat completions. The goal of the library is to follow the Node SDK wherever possible while taking advantage of React Native SSE for streaming where the Anthropic Node SDK does not work. Lmk what you think or if this will be useful to you!

Hey HN, I wanted to share a UI toolkit project I’ve been working on recently, born out of how difficult I found it to build a great UX on top of LLMs, and keep application state in sync. I’ve built: - A React/JS front-end library for conversational interfaces, which makes it super easy to bootstrap AI assistants and ChatGPT style UX: https://github.com/nlkitai/nlux - A set of adapters that simplify integration with AI backends such as LangServe and HuggingFace The library is highly configurable, easy to theme, supports markdown streaming (that was tough to get…

A few weekends ago I was bored looking for a small project. I decided to make a small chat app that supports SSL and can be deployed easily. Front-end: ReactJS, Redux, Websockets Back End: Node.JS, Redis, Websockets Here is the source: http://www.github.com/lgse/react-chat Here is a demo: http://chat.lgse.net username: pick whatever you like! server: chat.lgse.net:1337 encryption: SSL/TLS There are still a lot of todos, but very functional for a small weekend project. Comments welcomed!

I got frustrated with Claude's official platform limitations - conversations disappearing, no customization options, and clunky file handling. So I built my own interface over a weekend! GitHub: https://github.com/chihebnabil/claude-ui What it does: - Saves all conversations locally (SQLite + Drizzle ORM) - Lets you customize Claude's personality per chat - Handles file attachments properly + caching input tokens - Dark/light mode - No conversation limits - Markdown & code syntax highlighting Tech stack is pretty simple: - Nuxt 3 for the frontend - Anthropic's SDK…

Anthropic recently released a new model called Claude. As I was unable to access this model, I noticed a lot of discussions on Twitter regarding comparisons and use cases of Claude and ChatGPT. To keep track of these conversations, I created a repository that compiles information on the following topics: * Comparisons between Claude and ChatGPT * Use cases * Limitations of Claude Check it out and please create a bug/PR if more threads can be added: https://github.com/taranjeet/awesome-claude

Hey HN! We're Zach and Dan, and today we're excited to introduce NativeWindUI, a UI library that helps you build beautiful apps for all native platforms through the power of Tailwind CSS and React Native. With this familiar set of tools, you can now easily deliver a great experience that feels native to each platform. As developers, we've always been frustrated by the trade-offs between development speed and native user experience. We've seen countless apps that feel "off" because they prioritized cross-platform consistency over platform-specific design patterns. It has become painfully…

Hey Hacker News, I'm a long-time lurker and wanted to share a project I just finished building. Like many React Native developers, I needed to add marker clustering to a map in my app. The most popular library for this, react-native-maps-clustering, was fantastic in its day but has become outdated and no longer works with modern versions of Expo, React Native, and their dependencies. After hitting a wall of compatibility issues, I decided to take on the challenge of rewriting it from the ground up, focusing on a modern toolchain and a better developer experience. The journey was a lot more…

Hey HN. I'm a developer and solopreneur. Few months ago I realized I was doing the same thing over and over again: set up onboarding flow, user authentication, payments, connect a DB... So I built ExpoShip for 3 reasons: 1. Save Time and focus on what matters: building a business. 2. Avoid headaches like setting up authentication or handling in-app payments. 3. Get profitable fast. I hope this boilerplate will be as helpful to you as it is for me. Would love your feedback. Rudolfs

Hey HN. I built this because my Anthropic API bills were getting out of hand (spoiler: they remain high even with this, batch is not a magic bullet). I use Claude Code daily for software design and infra work (terraform, code reviews, docs). Many Terminal tabs, many questions. I realised some questions are ok to wait on and with that comes some cost savings. So here is a small MCP that lets you send work directly to Anthropic's Batch API from inside Claude Code, for the same quality responses just 50% cheaper, results come back in ~30min-1hr. How it works: you type /batch review this…

Hey HN! We just released a new library for building LLM-powered applications: @axflow/models. It is part of a larger suite of libraries we're developing for TypeScript developers working with generative AI. This library provides the simplest APIs for 1) invoking the most popular LLM and embedding models (openai, anthropic, cohere, huggingface, etc.) 2) streaming LLM responses to clients, including augmenting the streams with additional arbitrary data and 3) building client-side applications with React hooks. @axflow/models has zero dependencies and is built using only the…

Admittedly I work on this, but I anthropic's decision to finally embrace http, auth (at least a little), and other RFCs that are coming out is just great. With OpenAI behind it too, this ecosystem will be built around projects like this. Not saying it's MCP or not, but it'll be one of them
