Hi HN, I'm Mohammed, a technical founder who loves shipping and giving back to the community. I'm open-sourcing the full-stack engine that powers my B2B product, apflow.co. What it is: A production B2B starter with a Go backend and Next.js frontend. Both are fully Dockerized with separate containers. No Vercel. No Supabase. Deploy the whole thing on a $6 VPS, or split frontend and backend across different providers. You own the infrastructure. The problem I was solving: Every SaaS starter I evaluated had the same issue: they locked me into someone else's platform. Vercel for hosting.…

Hey HN! Christian here, cofounder and CTO of Frigade (https://www.frigade.com). Our tool helps product and engineering teams quickly build in-app experiences like getting started checklists, product tours, account upsells, and nps surveys. Basically all the little things that can help boost your product's activation and retention rates, but that you don't really want to spend the time building from scratch. We built React UI components such as , , and and combined them with a web app that you can use to control user targeting, content management, sequencing, and more. These…

After accidentally nuking the production database of my last side project, I wished I had used dev/prod environments with automated DB backups. When I looked for a SaaS template to start over with integrated dev/prod environments, I couldn’t find one. So I decided to build it myself. To help speed up the setup, I also built Bash and PowerShell scripts to guide users through the process. The current stack is Next.js, Firebase, and Stripe. However, I’m considering writing some Terraform modules for GCP resources to further speed up setup and provide more flexibility for power users.…

Hi HN, Yesterday I live streamed myself for 6 hours building this from scratch. It’s an AI agent that uses Llama 2 (so far the 13b chat model) to generate a full react codebase from a single prompt. It had a “dev loop” that iterates on your feedback and resolves dependencies. In the end it kinda worked and I got excited so wanted to post here haha. Long story short a viewer on my discord suggested I build in of these and I just had to look into how these work (inspired by GPT Engineer and AutoGPT) I wanted to work on a more specific downstream task so I focused on web dev. Llama 2 isn’t the…

Hi HN, I built Titan, a backend framework where you write routes and logic in JavaScript, and the CLI compiles everything into a single Rust + Axum binary using the Boa JS engine. No Node.js is required in production. The idea is to keep JS developer experience while getting Rust performance and a self-contained deployable server. Current features: JS route DSL Action system mapped to Rust esbuild bundling Generated Rust server with Axum Hot-reload dev server Single-binary output Repo: https://github.com/ezet-galaxy/-ezetgalaxy-titan Would love feedback on the…
