Hey HN, We're Steve and Tom (YC S18), the co-founders of Duffel (https://duffel.com/), an API-based travel platform. Think of Stripe, but for searching and booking flights. We built Duffel after running head first into the problem of accessing airline inventory for a side-project that we had. All the providers out there (ever heard of a GDS? Amadeus? Sabre?) felt antiquated, expensive and quite frankly didn't even want to work with us. To top it up, once we started digging the only things we could hear were "PNR", "IATA", "ARC", "RBD" and other wonderful acronyms. It’s…

I was on a flight today and was perusing my old repositories on github for something to work on. Low and behold I find this old Gem. Figure I would share it here

Hi HN! I just released assistant-tui, a terminal user interface for OpenAI's Assistant API. If terminal is your thing, it can be a great way to test and evaluate the API and its results. It implements not only the API, but also all the infrastructure to make it work, including polling, local repository, and more. Feedbacks and stars are welcome! https://github.com/dalssoft/assistant-tui

Hi everyone, I've been working on a side project over quarantine called Usage.ai and I finally feel comfortable enough to launch it. We're a service that plugs directly into AWS, automatically finds savings, and applies those savings at the press of a confirmation button all without ever needing to go to an AWS console. I'd love to get HN's thoughts on it! Demo: https://www.loom.com/share/2a6f1c8e4c214914a1cdd88c6fdec4ac Link: https://www.usage.ai/
