I got the idea of [mindmap.so](http://mindmap.so/) out of my own frustration of managing my personal notes in Notion and Miro in parallel. I have built it 3 months back on top of excalidraw, posted it in Reddit a couple of times, and never looked back (was using it only for personal use). This is a model I’ve been thinking about lately. It demonstrates a pattern that I’m wondering could exist, where terminal applications, BBS-style shared user boards, and other expressions of creativity and sharing are created with web technologies but rendered into the terminal and accessed over SSH. Im working on a mind mapping app that would allow for integration of gamification features and be nicer and easier to remember. I was missing more advanced graphics from apps and being able to treat it as my note taking and learning tool. i.e. how (and why?) should I remember a mind map if it looks the same like all other maps and all i can do is pick couple of shapes and dashed/dotted lines? this simply doesnt work with my brain so i decided to create something better :) map on page is a preview of this, but im curious about the quiz, typing games and cheatsheet, would love some…
