Products that do what Blooming – Chain AI models on a whiteboard to turn text→images→video does

Hey HN, I built Blooming, a visual AI workspace where you drag-and-drop “nodes” (text, image, video) onto a whiteboard and chain AI text, image and video models together. It's kinda like n8n but for AI art: • Node-based canvas • Multi-model switching (test different models side by side and iterate multiple versions) • Pipe text or image output to other nodes to refine prompts, turn them into videos or explain images Demo link: https://youtu.be/TdFzhxeRFNg I’d love your feedback on UI clarity, performance, and which models to integrate next. What’s confusing or missing for AI…

I'm enthralled with using pen plotters to make generative art. Last August at SIGGRAPH, I built an interactive experience for others to see how code can be used to make visual art. The linked blog post is my trials and tribulations of linking a MIDI controller to one of these algorithms and sending its output to a plotter, so that people may witness the end-to-end experience.

Hey everyone, ML Blocks is a node-based workflow builder to create multi-modal AI workflows without writing any code. You connect blocks that call various visual models like GPT4v, Segment Anything, Dino etc. along with basic image processing blocks like resize, invert color, blur, crop, and several others. The idea is to make it easier to deploy multi-step image processing workflows, without needing to spin up endless custom OpenCV cloud functions to glue together AI models. Usually, even if you're using cloud inference servers like Replicate, you still need to write your own image…

Most inference UIs that I've come across pretty much just give us a chat-like interface to toy around with models in a single visual conversation thread. Given the fact that we are limited to seeing only one output at a time, it's kind of hard to compare outputs from different models, adjustments made to the prompting, and sampler settings. But even when keeping the generation parameters the same (e.g., to test for reliability in the output) and just going for multiple passes, there is no easy way to have a side-by-side comparison to keep track of the outputs from the multiple "rounds". I…

It's our new text-to-image model: a 9.3B single-stream diffusion transformer trained entirely from scratch. We focused heavily on controllability through structured JSON prompts, with strong text rendering, spatial awareness through bounding box guidance, and color palette control. It has the best text rendering of any open-weight model we've tested so far, and the NF4 quantized checkpoint runs on a single 24GB GPU. For more technical details and examples see our blog post: https://ideogram.ai/blog/ideogram-4.0/ We will be happy to answer any questions :)

Hi HN, I'm excited to share a project I've built: PixelateImage.org. Instead of being a traditional image editor, this is an *AI-powered tool that generates pixel art directly from your text prompts.* If you've ever wanted to create unique pixel art characters, scenes, or assets for games, art projects, or just for fun, but perhaps lacked the specific artistic skills or time, this might be for you. My goal was to make generating retro-style or modern pixel art more accessible. You can type in a description (e.g., "a brave knight in a dark forest," "a futuristic cityscape at night," "a cute…

Hi HN, I built Lungo, a tool that generates image-based slideshows and UGC-style videos using AI. The system creates visuals and assembles them into structured, shareable content based on a text prompt. What it does: • Generates images from prompts using a custom diffusion model • Constructs slideshows or short-form videos with transitions and optional voiceover • Handles layout, text generation, and multi-language support • Outputs are consistent in resolution and format, ready for distribution I built with a React, firebase, OpenAI, Runway and ffmpeg. Feedback and questions welcome.

I tried to train text to video and image to video models to generate 2D game animations. I used public game animation data and 3D mixamo model rendered animations to train the animation generation models. I'm open sourcing the model, training data, training code and data generation code. More technical details can be found in my blog (https://www.gavinliblog.com/posts/godmodeanimation).

I’ve spent the last month or so hacking on a prototype to let filmmakers make concept art more quickly with recent generative image tools. This is very much a beta—with current functionality you can make projects, generate shots, and upload scripts which we can process into shotlists. Features I’m working on as we speak: character consistency, location consistency, framing and composing shots. Let me know what you think or what else I should build!
