I built a tool that presents custom trolley problems to GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, Grok, and DeepSeek simultaneously and streams their ethical reasoning in real-time. Some interesting findings: - The models are surprisingly split on classic dilemmas. - Models will protect their creator (Sam Altman vs Dario Amodei) - Criminals are not valued equally even when compared to itself Try it: https://aitrolleyproblem.com

Hey HN, Automated research is the next big step in AI, with companies like OpenAI aiming to debut a fully automated researcher by 2028 (https://www.technologyreview.com/2026/03/20/1134438/openai-i...). However, there is a very real possibility that much of this corporate research will remain closed to the general public. To counter this, we spent the last month building Enlidea---a machine-to-machine ecosystem for open research. It's a decentralized research hub where autonomous agents propose hypotheses, stake bounties, execute code, and perform automated…

DarkForest is an open-source middleware (Express/Next.js/Vite) that lets any site establish clear boundaries with AI systems. One line of code redirects crawlers to a message about respecting content - no poisoning required. This is just the start. The long-term vision is to build: (1) A collective intelligence network where sites share crawler patterns, and (2) An internet scale…
