Products that do what Brainpick.co.uk – Earn money by answering StackOverflow questions does

Hi! I am looking for honest feedback on my next product. Brainpick.co.uk is a Chrome extension that adds a button on StackOverflow standard page to pay for an answer. You answer and get paid when the answer is accepted. I am selling it to Enterprises as an affordable, subscription-based, pay-as-you-go service. Let me know your thoughts.

I’ve always found it funny how simple feedback widgets end up as $20–$30/month products. The tech is dead simple, infra is cheap, and most of us here could rebuild one in a weekend. So as a “principle experiment” I built my own today as a side project and priced it at 1 dollar. Just because if something is cheap to run and easy to replicate, it should be priced accordingly, and it’s also fun marketing. 1$ feedback tool. Shipped today, got the first users/moneys today, writing this post today. Side Sunday project, then back to the main product tomorrow.

Ah, there's a dumb easy hack to figure out what ideas people will pay for. Search "I'd pay for" on Twitter and you'll find hundreds of posts from people talking about pain points and products they'd pay for to solve them. Do this enough and you realize you have to filter through a lot of slop. slop. slop. I created willpayforthis.com to accumulate high signal, high quality posts and save you some time. I love thoughts from the community on how I can make it better, save you time, and help you work on the best ideas.

Long time looker, first time Show-er here! I built the initial BrainTool to scratch a personal itch - to unify my bookmarks and online resources with text-based notes. I've spent the last several months iterating on it with feedback from early adopters and UX volunteers. It's finally at the point where I feel confident enough to seek this communities feedback. BrainTool is a browser extension that makes it easy to save pages of interest into a personal 'topic' hierarchy, along with associated notes. Your topics are shown in an editable side panel which can also control the browser - opening…

I have been working on a pet project of mine http://brainturk.com , These games are mostly taken from various research papers and I have implemented them in HTML5 . What do you think we should focus on next , working on existing games to add features , better graphics or add more games or work on the progress section ?. I have been thinking of adding a section for kids (under 15) where some of the games can be linked and maybe change some graphics and make the levels easier to start with Please let me know if you think of any suggestions on how to improve the product and also any ideas are…

Hi HN! TL;DR: We are launching a Chrome Extension which sends your html pages to our servers for publicly accessible sites like Amazon or Airbnb. We process them and sell the data through MovingLake. After sales are done, we send a chunk of the revenue back to Littlecow contributors using ETH. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/littlecow/gknglaag... https://github.com/MovingLake/littlecow After working for a year on MovingLake we have bumped many times with customers requesting public data from marketplace sites such as Amazon and…

Hey folks at HN, I didn’t want to pay $10–$30/month for AI email tools, so my friend and I built a free Chrome extension that works directly inside Gmail. It has the core features you'd expect: - When you open a reply, it drafts a response based on the thread — just hit Tab and send. - As you type, it suggests completions based on context (like autocomplete, but smarter). - Press Shift+Tab to force a suggestion anytime. - You can also give it context with // comments — e.g. // suggest a time on Thursday afternoon — and press Tab to drop in the response. Then hit…

We have built a free extension for Chrome that integrates with your knowledge base on Zendesk, HelpScout, or HelpCenter.io so you can access your content from anywhere and integrate it with OpenAI for instant answers. The extension also works inside Gmail to automate writing emails and email replies using the content of your help center.
