Products that do what bullfrog, a text-to-speech service does

Hi all! I created a text-to-speech service called bullfrog. I am aiming to create a simple, inexpensive TTS service that can be called from any application. We currently have a ruby gem, and plan to add a PHP library and many others as well. Would love your feedback and criticism! https://bullfrog.io

I built a simple text-to-speech converter at texttospeech.site Free tier: 10 generations/day, standard voices, no account needed. Pro tier: Neural2 voices, 2000 chars, downloadable MP3s. Stack: Next.js, Google Cloud TTS API, Vercel. The $2 domain was an SEO experiment after my speechtotext.xyz satellite drove 22% of traffic to my main product. Curious if exact-match keyword domains still work for TTS searches. Feedback welcome — especially on voice quality and UX.

I built TTSLab — a free, open-source tool for running text-to-speech and speech-to-text models directly in the browser using WebGPU and WASM. No API keys, no backend, no data leaves your machine. When you open the site, you'll hear it immediately — the landing page auto-generates speech from three different sentences right in your browser, no setup required. You can then try any model yourself: type text, hit generate, hear it instantly. Models download once and get cached locally. The most experimental feature: a fully in-browser Voice Agent. It chains speech-to-text → LLM → text-to-speech,…

Hey HN! I built Transcrib.ee to help me generate transcripts for lectures on YouTube with no captions, especially multilingual lectures. I was constantly frustrated with videos that had no transcripts or inaccurate ones, so I built a tool and decided to share it with everyone. This tool uses Groq (an AI inference engine that's different from Grok and offers very fast processing) and OpenAI's Whisper model (really accurate in multilingual) to quickly transcribe any YouTube video, regardless of the language. It's been a game-changer for my studies! To make it even faster, I created a Chrome…

I've built To_Shout, a lightweight output library for bare-metal environments that requires no standard library, no OS dependencies, and no headers. It's designed for kernel development, embedded systems, and anyone working close to the metal. Key features: · Type-aware output using C11 _Generic · Supports integers, floats, strings, hex, and binary formats · VGA text mode implementation included · Color output support · Less than 300 lines of code · LGPL 3.0 licensed GitHub: https://github.com/Ferki-git-creator/to_shout
