Hey HN OpenCopilot is an OSS framework which helps devs to build open-source AI Copilots that actually work and embed into their product with ease. Why another LLM framework? Twitter is full of impressive LLM applications but once you peel off the curtains it’s clear that they are just demos. The reason being because building an AI Copilot that goes beyond a Twitter demo can be complex, time-consuming and unreliable. Our team has been in the AI space since 2018 and built numerous LLM apps & copilots. While doing that, we got approached by many startups saying they’d also like to build a…

https://mailpilot.chat What is this? A local TUI (like Claude, Codex, Gemini, OpenCode or Copilot) that wraps your agent and sends each turn to an email in a nice format. What does it enable? It lets you email your agents. And them email you. So They Keep Working on the tasks you want, and You go and do What You Want. No need to stay at your desk. Be free. I built this for me, but thought others would find it useful, so I turned it into a product. I want get outside, and away from my desk, but still have the agents work. The accidental killer feature: You can CC your team. If you…

If you have tried GitHub's Copilot Chat, then this will look familiar to you. The main difference, however, is you can choose which LLM to talk to. So far OpenPilot supports GPT 3.5/4 and Google PaLM 2. I'd like to add support for more models (Claude 2, etc) but have been stuck on waiting lists so I haven't tested them. OpenPilot will give context to your prompts by automatically including relevant files from your workspace. You don't need to have the file open or manually highlight the code in question. It does this using 2 techniques: 1. All the files in your workspace are transformed…

Hi HN, Erik here. Today we launch Butter, an OpenAI-compatible API proxy that caches LLM generations and serves them deterministically on revisit. Since April, we’ve been working on this concept of “muscle memory,” or deterministic replay, for agent systems performing automations. You may recall our first post in May, launching a python package called Muscle Mem: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=43988381 Since then, the product has evolved entirely, now taking the form of an LLM Proxy. For a deep dive into this process, check out:…
