I love the looks and UX of the Google calendar. But I wanted to have a version I could use more freely in my own projects, still looking similar to the one from Google.

Made this todo list + calendar heat map over a couple of weekends, so its rough, but should be valuable enough to be used. Currently stores data in local storage, but I'm working on persisting data with auth + a database. Features coming in the couple weeks: (1) Search, (2) Categories. Hope you find it useful!

Hey Hacker News! To test implementing AI (and paywalls tbh) in software for the first time, I made this simple calendar creator (no mail address required) that lets a person create a calendar based on his needs and availability and export it to his calendar app, pdf or receive a daily newsletter with his daily tasks (and more). After wrestling with different models (f.e. with huggingface) and encountering different problems, I decided to use ChatGPT's models, tune them a little and see how the result works out.
