Products that do what Circle Calendar does

I've always had a hard time visualizing the relative order and distance between months using a standard columnar calendar. So I made this circular calendar. It's similar to other circular calendars, however I tried to fashion it more like a clock (1-12) to help make the visual connection between the month name and the month number.

Hey HN! I just launched Dialed – a calendar app where your day is visualized as a clock instead of a grid. I've always found traditional calendar UIs frustrating. Lists feel like todo apps. Grids feel like spreadsheets. But we experience time circularly, like a clock face. A few months ago I saw a radial planning concept and couldn't stop thinking about it. Started building that week. Key features: Day visualized as 24-hour clock Tasks/events as colored arcs Apple Calendar sync Time analytics (planned vs actual) Custom themes Built in Swift/SwiftUI. The radial layout was harder…

My partner and I do a lot of planning around things like holidays and trips, which involves a mix of firm, tentative, and overlapping plans, and normal calendars are the wrong fidelity for that kind of planning. We often found ourselves drawing on top of screenshots of calendars with tools like Miro or even printing out calendars we could draw on. We're both product designers, and so we're used to working in low fidelity tools like Excalidraw and FigJam. We decided to try and make a low-fidelity equivalent for calendars, and built Walnut. It's just lines and stickies, with a few different…

For years I've used paper and a printed clock to organise my day. Found it way better than any list or timeline app. Played around a bit and made a digital clone to speed things up: Reassign.app (best experience is on desktop) Anyone else think of their day as a circle rather than a list? edit: it also has MCP integration (https://reassign.app/api/mcp) — my Claude already connects to Linear and Calendar, so I use it to start and plan my day. I can quickly get a skeleton of a day out and then polish until done.
