I’ve been in the MLOps space for ~10 years, and data is still the hardest unsolved open problem. Code is versioned using Git, data is stored somewhere else, and context often lives in a 3rd location like Slack or GDocs. I had this backup code working reliably for years, using local file system, vps/dedicated server, or remote storage for backup, then I finally get time to wrap README, iron few missing switches and publish. Should be production ready and reliable, so it could be useful to others. Contributors are welcome.

Been broken for 4 months, just got back to fixing it and validating. Figured I'll repost this. Gargantuan Takeout Rocket (GTR) is a toolkit to make the pain of backing up a Google account to somewhere that's not Google a lot less. At the moment the only destination supported is Azure. It's a guide, a browser extension, a Cloudflare worker to deploy, and Azure storage to configure. This sounds like buzzword creep, but believe me, every piece is extremely important. We started CallFS after yet another late-night “why did the uploads vanish?” incident. Our small team had stitched together rsync, a fragile NFS mount, and an S3 bucket—none of it observable, all of it waiting to bite us.
