Products that do what Colorado Excluded – Find companies that are avoiding hiring in Colorado does
Over the weekend I threw together a quick website that takes user submissions for job listings for companies that are avoiding hiring in Colorado: https://www.coloradoexcluded.com/ Colorado recently passed a law that, amongst other things, requires that companies who are hiring remotely in Colorado to list a salary range for their positions. While I obviously can't make any guarantee that this is the reason, many companies have started listing job openings that are excluding any Colorado based applicants. You can find more information in the FAQ on the about page:…

We're giving away coupon codes for a free month-long posting. Just email me at evan AT remote DASH jobs DOT com. The first few folks win! I'm one of the founders of Remote Jobs -- also the same shlub who posted the first "Ask HN: Who Is Hiring Remote Workers?" http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=1857051.

Hi fellow job seekers! In a few hours this month's "Ask HN: Who is hiring?" thread will be posted. I've created a simple bookmarklet that removes jobs from the cities you are not interested in. You can find the bookmarklet & instructions here: https://github.com/janhancic/hnHiringFilter I hope somebody will find it helpful.

Based on the multiple "Who's hiring remotely?" and similar posts on HN, I thought it might be useful to have a site that aggregates remote programming jobs. There is way too much spam out and an inconsistent way to say "work from home" so traditional searching doesn't work (or rather, takes a long time per person). I've worked in a few remote programming positions so I figured I might know of some companies or searching tricks to find them. Let me know if you'd find this type of thing useful. If we can get some traffic going, then maybe we can start attracting companies to actually list…

I have some friends who were laid off and are on the job hunt. We were all quite surprised to learn that LinkedIn does not have a "view jobs only at companies where I have connections", so I built https://jobsbyreferral.com/ It's powered by https://rapidapi.com/letscrape-6bRBa3QguO5/api/jsearch, which is a little pricey, so I'm trying to decide whether to put more effort into the project (I'd have to charge _something_ to offset the costs).

My friend Angus (angusiguess) & I became annoyed trying to parse through the wonderful 'Who is Hiring?' threads looking for internships this summer, so we made a searchable version. It's just the first roll out, we have some other stuff planned. It's important to note that this was all done programatically, so there is no possibility for 100% accuracy with most fields. We would love to hear your feedback! If you have any more personal issues (ie, want your post removed), contact info is available in our profiles. When we are looking for remote jobs we generally browse job postings in remote job boards. In doing so we miss some opportunities which are not posted in those job boards. So if you are actively looking for a remote job you should also checkout career pages of companies which recruit remote talent. I have compiled a list of such companies and tagged each company with remote locations they are hiring for. Those who are looking for remote job do checkout this page. https://remotejobhuntbuddy.com/blog/remote-companies-list-a-to-c.html

Hey HN, I built a UI on top of the "Who is hiring" posts. Take a look at https://hnwork.app! One of the downsides of unstructured text posts is the readability due to it being free-form and having little to no format. While there are other tools that have been built over the years to make perusing Who is hiring posts easier, I took a try on making my own (I actually tried to build this at a YC hackathon a few years back, but got around to completing it recently). Features: 1. Text search and search filters 2. Original post text with call outs to important information 3. Removes…

Hello everyone! I know there are already a few "Who Is Hiring" aggregators, but I wanted to show off what I've done. My project was cancelled right before Christmas, so this project was a great way to blow off some steam while procrastinating looking for a new job. Tangentially, I am looking for new career opportunities if your company needs a full stack web developer, lol. This website was completed in about a week and a half. I wanted to present it in a Show HN post on Jan 2 when the usual Who Is Hiring posts were featured, but I didn't think it had enough features to make it useful. Even…
