Pipe the output of a `diff` command to Diffswarm to get back a persistent URL that contains the diff with workflow, comments, search, etc. Basically some of the helpful features that Github offers on PR diffs, just available for any arbitrary diff. I wrote this tool to use at work for documenting snapshot diff triaging, and also used it to help with the same thing on a couple Ty PRs. Example: https://diffswarm.dev/d-01k2gknwyq82f6x17zqf3apjxc

I have started developing a prototype of a WireGuard VPN hub, where I could set a custom exit to a specific device, for example, my TV box would use a VPN in Germany, while my desktop a VPN is Serbia and I could switch the exit in realtime without having to stop the VPN connections and consequently no disconnections (ssh, etc). The project grew, and I ended up adding SOCKS5 and HTTP proxy, Tor exits, exit pools, random exits, timed exits, and exits/routes based on domains or IP addresses. I also added an in-house DNS with several default block lists (malware, gambling, social media,…

Hi everyone! k8s-insider is a CLI tool to manage VPN networks and access Kubernetes workload and service resources directly through a WireGuard tunnel. It started as a simple Helm chart with a linuxserver/wireguard-like container image but, possibly due to my neurodivergence getting the better of me, evolved into a toolbox that, depending on the cluster configuration, can more or less automagically configure multiple networks with dynamic IP assignments and netpol-limited access to the cluster. I’ve found it to be a perfect middle ground between juggling multiple port-forwards and…

Stop-nagging is a Rust CLI tool I built to automatically silence those annoying upgrade prompts, telemetry, and advertising nags that plague our development tools. It works by setting environment variables and running configuration commands without modifying source code. * Fast, zero-config Rust binary * Linux, Windows and macOS compatible * Uses YAML for easy contribution of new tools * Never fails (exits 0) to avoid breaking CI pipelines * Respects existing environment variables * Works across multiple ecosystems (Node.js, Python, Rust, etc.) The tool is designed to be simple - run it once…

I built a small CLI tool that makes it easy to provision configuration to multiple OpenWrt devices. My goal is to later build a web-ui around this and make an open source UniFi Controller alternative for OpenWrt.

I wanted to do a complete audit of my AWS account but was dissatisfied with the existing tools. Many of them are clunky to use, and their verbose scan outputs are difficult to understand. So, I built my own open-source tool that uses LLMs to summarize the scan results.

Linux Foundation survey says 70-90% of modern software constitute OSS code. Yet we are stuck with tools that scan only for vulnerabilities in 3rd party libraries and that too with high degree of false positives. I built `vet` for policy and data driven analysis of 3rd party packages that goes beyond only vulnerability and allows codifying organisational policies related to OSS consumption. https://github.com/safedep/vet Looking forward to feedback and suggestions from HN :)
