Products that do what Created an App for People Who Hate Planning Vacations does

Hi HN! I and my team have been hard at work for the past 4 years on our passion project, Trameter, and we're thrilled to share our second public release with you. Just 2 days ago, we launched Trameter on the App Store in the US, and we'd love to get your feedback. What Trameter Does Imagine planning a whole vacation in just a few seconds. That’s Trameter! It’s a mobile app that takes the stress out of travel planning. You simply tell it where you want to go, when you want to go, and how much you want to spend. In return, it gives you 9 personalized vacation options – a mix of flights and…

Hey HN! I built StretchMyTimeOff as a quick experiment using Cursor (Anysphere's AI code editor) and GPT-4o to see how far AI could go in building a simple, functional site. What it does: The site helps you get the most out of your vacation by suggesting optimal days to take off around national holidays, maximizing long breaks with minimal vacation days, anywhere in the world and for any calendar year. It's an idea I've had for a while, and building the algorithm with GPT was a fun challenge. Any feedback or ideas I'm all ears :)

Hello. I was looking for a simple and clean habit tracker. I went through a few apps but felt they were missing something. I also had some time on my hands, so decided to make my own and share it in case anyone else likes it. Some of the supported features: Streaks based, track and beat your longest streaks Fully useable offline Freezes (similar to Duolingo's streak freezes) Visual map for tracking consistency Pause the app when you need a break or will be away For anyone curious about the tech stack: - React for frontend - Dexie cloud for storage and syncing - Vercel for hosting Link:…

Hi all! I'm a 17-year old self-taught developer just starting to tap into the mobile world! :3 This summer, I've worked on a minimalist distance-based alarm clock app that wakes you up before you miss your stop! I have been working on a new mountain biking app for the last year called Hangtime. It is a free ride computer app that uses a smartphone's GPS, accelerometer, gyroscope, and altimeter to track a mountain bike ride. After recording a ride, the user can go back and see their performance in turns, jumps, climbs, etc. Below is a video that shows off some of the app's features. https://youtu.be/TXiwzf-UJhQ I wasn't sure I could get the performance required from Flutter/Dart vs. native as a one hour ride generates well over a million data points from all of the sensor data.…

Hey! I just launched TimeSlate.app — a completely free web app to help students stay focused and organized with zero friction. No accounts, no ads, no subscription What it does: - Pomodoro Timer - Task Manager – Tag tasks by subject, assign priorities, track progress. - Subjects - Revision Timetable – Block out your day visually with subject-based time blocks. - Dashboard – See time spent, tasks completed, Pomodoros per subject/day. It’s built for students, self-learners, or really anyone trying to structure deep work time without distractions. Why I made this: Every productivity app I…

Over the last year, me and my co-founder have been working on a startup that provides a marketplace for what we call "self-guided tour itineraries". The best way to understand it is to have a look, here is an example: http://www.unanchor.com/itinerary/view/149 We just did our public launch today - it would be great to get your feedback on it. Be blunt, we can handle it :)

Hi HN, I’m the creator of Alarms.Global, a free tool I built while working in logistics. I was constantly juggling scattered holiday calendars and scanning local news to figure out why shipments were delayed. What it does: Tracks public holidays in 190+ countries (so you know when offices, ports, and customs are closed) Aggregates real-time transport disruptions (strikes, port congestion, weather issues, etc.) Shows everything on a filterable world map Works in 14 languages The idea was to create a single open platform to see what might stop goods from moving today. Tech: It’s built with…

Hi Everyone, I created a mobile app called Accumoo, and I would appreciate it if y'all can have a look, download and give me a favorable review. Lots of blood, sweat, tears and love went into this app, and I hope you LOVE it as much as I do - it's the app I always needed and wanted. Anyhow, I've been a Rails developer and Software Engineer for a long time, and this is my first stab at a mobile app. It's a "habit tracker" app on steroids that's just fun to use - syncs across devices, local-first architecture - and an easter egg game for good measure. Help a disabled vet out and give it a go.…

Hello HN, I made the web app that helps plan your routes/road trips. It has so many options that I don’t know how to explain in simple words :), so I’ll try like this. What is cool about it is that your routes are shareable and hackable. The routes come in the format ie. https://camptarget.com/London,Uk/Vienna,AT/Istanbul,TR/5h:6d, meaning we travel from London via Vienna to Istanbul, driving 5 hours daily while our total time budget would be 6 days. At given breakpoints (after 5 hours) we can explore the nearby locality in radius of some 30-40 miles, for…
