Backstory: Few years back, I used a shared spreadsheet (GSheets) to organize my property hunt, and found it quite frustrating to keep on top of things just on the productivity side alone. Felt that there should be a better way to do this, and that's when I started creating a webapp, with features that can make this journey feel less stressful. This is a solo dev project. Have a look at the demo, and let me know your thoughts! Cheers

Hey HN! I’m one of the co-founders of Ampersand and we’re excited to launch our developer docs today! Ampersand is built for SaaS engineers who want to: - Read data from their customers’ SaaS (e.g. Salesforce, Hubspot). - Write data to their customers’ SaaS. - Subscribe to events happening in their customers’ SaaS (including creates, deletes and field updates). We feature a Terraform-like declarative interface for defining integrations, embeddable UI components for your users to set up and manage their integrations, and a management console for your team to monitor and troubleshoot. We’re…

Hello everyone. I'm a relatively new developer and I started my first project to go full production recently. It is a directory of payment processors and payment service providers. It's free to use and gives detailed info on their pricing, business model, supported business types, available countries, prohibited businesses and high risk business support. So far only 40 have been added with more to come. And I allow processors to contact me so that they're details can be added to the database. I'll eventually automate this and add verification the months to come. I hope you'll find it useful.…

website: dashboard.io I've been thinking about this idea for a while now and finally got around to building the prototype this weekend. The idea is that you'd drop my JS snippet on your site and I'd start building the "AARRR" table (which I'm actually building this week but imagine slide 4: http://www.slideshare.net/dmc500hats/startup-metrics-for-pirates-long-version). Basically, the system will build that table out for you and then show you how your startup stacks up against others in your space. To be clear, I'll never share your data with anyone. So, if you're a "hosting" company, I'd…

Today you can easily adopt AI coding tools because you have git for branching and rolling back if AI writes bad code. We haven't seen this same capability for data and decided to build it ourselves. Nile is a new kind of data lake, purpose built for using with AI. It can act as your data engineer or data analyst creating new tables and rolling back bad changes in seconds. We support real versions for data, schema, and ETL. We'd love your feedback on any part of what we are building - https://getnile.ai/ What do you think?

Tried all SaaS Sales and GTM tools; ended up vibe-coding a simple tool that just works. Uses Claude Code as a backend (funny, I know). Helps enrich, qualify, and prepare high-quality reach-outs

This is a previous project I decided to relaunch. There's tons of directories that accept all submissions, but I feel like that just waters down the platform. It also isn't fair for the amazingly built tools and services. I pivoted to a premium-only directory and feel like charging a small fee, while it might take longer to build the portfolio of listed tools, they'll be of much higher quality than other platforms.

I made this site over the past year in my own time, http://bizspeaking.com/ , the Twitter for deals. I'm going full-time on this project and sincerely seek all suggestions on building a viable business -- partner, funding, mentor, referrer, designer, developer, legal, anything. Technically, this site is mainly made with the Pyramid (Python) web framework, PostgreSQL as relational db, MongoDB as document store, Redis as cache/queue, and Solr for search. Do follow our AngelList page http://angel.co/bizspeaking , and official blog http://bizspeaking.posterous.com/ Thank you!

You might know Cube as an open-source semantic layer (https://github.com/cube-js/cube). Started in 2018, now 19K+ stars, 1000+ releases. We kept hitting the same wall: everyone wants AI analytics, but AI without business context hallucinates. The fix is a semantic layer — a model that defines what "revenue" or "churn" actually means. But building one by hand takes weeks. So we built an AI agent that writes the semantic layer itself, then uses it to answer questions and build dashboards with no hallucinations. Connect your data → agent builds the model in seconds → ask…

I build a lot of small products myself and I realized how many indie founders want an exit that doesn’t involve platforms charging large commissions or requiring big revenue numbers. Sometimes a project makes $50/month, sometimes $500, sometimes $0 but has a great codebase, and that’s enough value for someone else. So I built buy-startups.com, a very simple, privacy-friendly marketplace for buying and selling small online startups. It’s not fancy. There’s no commission, no listing fee, no hidden funnel. Just a straightforward way for indie devs and bootstrappers to list a project and…

I realised I was working on more parallel tasks with coding agents, but git branches became a huge bottleneck. Tried Git Butler but it just complicated things further. Found git worktrees as a solution but the git API was a bit too complicated for day to day. So thought I'll vibe-code this simple CLI utility to manage the process. It technically works with any setup – claude/codex/gemini + cursor/vim/whatever. Just manages git worktrees inside your repo and sets up your dev environment how you like it. Nothing fancy, just something I built to scratch my own itch. Figured…

Hey HN: Kaveh here, founder of https://www.usage.ai/ We help companies drive down AWS, GCP, and Azure spend. Why? Because the way it's done now is a pain. DevOps and Software Engineers end up spending time managing costs rather than focusing on business problems. I have been building Usage AI for almost 4 years now (4 year anniversary in 1 month from now!) with an incredible group of founding people. We started as a product just to help lower AWS EC2 costs, and now we do all major AWS services (such as RDS, OpenSearch, ElastiCache, and Redshift with more on the way) and other…

I am a software engineer working alone on a passion project, a website that helps you stay organized easily and efficiently. Headspace.io is a webmail, notepad, task list and calendar, all rolled into on. The basic premise is that any data in Headspace can be "tagged" and then all relevant information for a particular tag can be displayed in one screen. This is a pre-beta build and I'm hoping to get some early feedback from the wise and generous HN folks. Would you pay a small monthly fee ($5 maybe) for a service like this? http://app.headspace.io/ (This is pre-production so…
