Hi HN, I was late to wordle, so I am also late to making my own version. In Spindle, you rotate words on a grid with the aim of assembling the day’s target word. I enjoy it, so I thought some of you might enjoy it too. I've been playing Wordle and remembered this puzzle game I used to play with my grandfather. It's inspired by the block puzzles in many newspapers but made to be shorter: just guess the nine letter word. So I made a quick thing to play with my family like we used to. Wordle reminded me of Mastermind, a game I played as kid, so just for fun I made a version of the game that plays a lot more like Mastermind. I think this version is way more challenging :)

Hello HN! I was thinking of gift ideas for my special someone. I wanted to create a personal gift that could be both experienced in the moment and treasured forever. Hey HN I built this simple app that grabs four popular tweets from the last 24 hours and removes a word from each, so that the missing words spell out a phrase. It's the player's job to guess the missing words. A key motive for building this was that, to be honest, I was finding much of the news and social media dialogue quite depressing.
