Products that do what Daily QRCode does
I built https://da.ilyqrco.de/, a site which requires(*) scanning a QR Code to discover a different daily link. Hope you enjoy the concept, I have queued up a whole bunch of links I think are interesting. * If you happen to load the site on your phone and can't have your phone scan itself, you can visit the /archive page and simply click on links. It kind of defeats the whole purpose ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I wanted QR codes to be really simple to implement everywhere and for everyone. So I spent some time on my weekends trying to write a fast QR generator module for Apache, and here are the results: ab -n 5000 -c 100 http://lilqr.com/qr Requests per second: 4301.78 [#/sec] (mean)

Hi guys, Two days ago I published the fourth post in the series and thought it would now be a good time to look for additional feedback here on Hacker News. The aim of the series (as mentioned in the first post) is to inspire more people to start using Qt. My ambition is to answer the following questions "what is the gist of Qt?"; "what is the 20% that you need to know to develop 80% of the application?"; "what are the perhaps unknown unknowns?". In other words, I'm just covering basics: enough to understand the concepts and where to find additional information should you need it. Do you…

One station to find per day, 2 or 3 gamemodes depending on the city (if your city is not live yet, or you can't find it in the selector, try https://dailymetro.live/cityname/mode/classic ) Like https://dailymetro.live/sf/mode/classic for San Francisco Got huge traction in France, so I thought maybe you'll like it here too :) Made with Claude code but still took at least 50-100h of dev/design/taking user feedbacks ahahah Hope you like it

Inspired by the following post by photon_off... http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=1683309 I made karmurl last night. It's a simple app where you submit a URL for feedback, then for every piece of feedback you give to someone else's, you get to read one piece of feedback for yours. http://karmurl.com

There aren't any reliable free broken link checkers out there, so I decided to create one. Right now, it is a Python script that can be run on any platform. It is multi-threaded and has a lot of room for improvement. Feel free to check out the code and point out the mistakes or leave suggestions. I am newbie programmer :)

Hey any astrophysicist reading hn there? Was sick in august (yeah isn't that nice) and made a small python fits table viewer for the terminal with textual. It would be great to have people try it so if you find any issue I can improve it. If you have no FITS file but would like to try regardless there are some test file in `/test`. Ciao!

We just launched SnippQR (http://qr.snipp.com) – a free custom QR code generator. We first built our generator for internal use to create QR codes for clients like ESPN, Taco Bell and Sección Amarilla but quickly realized that this could be a great tool to share with everyone. Yes, QR codes are still relevant. According to eMarketer, 36% of adults aged 18-34 have used a QR code at least once – that’s greater than the percent of people who have used Twitter. QR code usage in China has quadrupled in the past year, to over 9 million scans per month.
