Hi everyone, I built a small web tool called Datamorph because I kept running into JSON/CSV converters that either broke with nested data, required login, or added weird formatting. Datamorph is a minimal, fast, no-login tool that can: • Convert JSON → CSV and CSV → JSON • Auto-detect structure (arrays, nested objects, mixed data) • Handle uploads or manual text input • Beautify / fix invalid JSON • Give clean, flat CSV output for real-world messy data It’s built with React + Supabase + serverless functions. Everything runs client-side except file parsing, so nothing is stored. I…

I built a tool that reveals the data your browser exposes automatically every time you visit a website. GitHub: https://github.com/neberej/exposedbydefault Demo: https://neberej.github.io/exposedbydefault/ Note: No data is sent anywhere. Everything runs in your browser.

Just launched DataFuel.dev on Product Hunt last Sunday, and I landed in the top 3! I built this API after working on an AI chatbot builder. Scraping can be a pain, but we need clean markdown data for fine-tuning or doing RAG with new LLM models. DataFuel API helps you transform websites into LLM-ready data. I've already got my first paying users. Would love your feedback to improve my product and my marketing!

Hey HN I built ImageConverter.dev because I got tired of “free” image converter sites that force uploads, or throttle conversions. So I made a tool that runs 100% client-side — meaning your images never leave your device. It’s built for speed, simplicity, and privacy. What it does Convert images between JPG, PNG, WebP Works offline once loaded (PWA support) How it works It uses the Canvas API and WebAssembly to handle conversions directly in the browser. There’s no upload, no tracking, no server costs, and it’s fast even on mid-range devices. Why I built it I wanted an instant, no-ads,…

Hi! My name is Vadim, and I’m the developer of Greenmask (https://github.com/GreenmaskIO/greenmask). Today Greenmask is almost 1 year and recently we published one of the most significant release with new features: https://github.com/GreenmaskIO/greenmask/releases/tag/v0.2.0, as well as a new website at https://greenmask.io. Before I describe Greenmask’s features, I want to share the story of how and why I started implementing it. Everyone strives to have their staging environment resemble production as closely as possible…

utils.foo a fully client side, ads-free developer utils app. Today, it has a timestamp converter, base64/url encoder/decoder, json & diff utils, quick pivoting data. A lot of these exist, but often buried with ads or unclear data usage. I wanted to build something for myself that is ads-free and easy to use. My goal is get to top 20 commonly used tools, make them feature-rich and then reduce the page size. Will appreciate feature/tools requests and feedback at https://github.com/midplane/forum.utils.foo/issues.

Hi! I created a universal data API that uses headless browsers and GPT to extract any data from the web in JSON format. I started this project because I needed some API to do data enrichment to get company data (headcount, investment rounds, etc.). Once I did the first version, I quickly realized that there can be many use cases for such a tool: data enrichment, web scraping, data validation, etc. Thanks!

Hey everyone, we built a local-first, open-source framework to allows you to export and build applications with your personal data. This August, we built a digital footprint exporter (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=41325719) that allowed people to get back their personal data, but there was no way to interact with it. So we added a python package, improved the reliability of the exporting, and implemented a unified JSON structure across platforms. How it works: - Electron’s built-in webview element is used to navigate to the platform’s website and the user can connect…
