Hey HN! We're Ayman and Dylan, co-founders of Nuanced (https://www.nuanced.dev/). We want to share a tool we’re working on to detect fake and real images: https://trial.nuanced.dev/demo/. The UI is bare-bones but you’ll get the idea. Drag or upload an image and our tool will display the probabilities with which it thinks that the image might be AI-generated or not. If you want, you can click “No, it’s AI” to confirm that the image was AI-generated, or “No, it’s real” to confirm that the image was not AI-generated. Why we’re working on this: as AI-generated…

Hey HN! I'm sharing a project I developed. It's a Tinder-like game where you swipe left or right to guess if a post is from Hacker News or a satire website.

Most inference UIs that I've come across pretty much just give us a chat-like interface to toy around with models in a single visual conversation thread. Given the fact that we are limited to seeing only one output at a time, it's kind of hard to compare outputs from different models, adjustments made to the prompting, and sampler settings. But even when keeping the generation parameters the same (e.g., to test for reliability in the output) and just going for multiple passes, there is no easy way to have a side-by-side comparison to keep track of the outputs from the multiple "rounds". I…

To learn OpenAI’s APIs a bit better (but mostly for fun), I made this image matching/prompting game. The idea is to generate a matching image using a prompt with limited input. You’ll have 3 tries. A new image and leaderboard is automatically reset daily. Let me know your thoughts! Please visit TwinPics.ai - Chris Sev
