Hi HN, I watch A LOT of educational YouTube videos but wasn't forgetting a good chunk of the details because I was only really passively watching. So I made a tool that generates quiz questions/flashcards from YouTube videos, and uses spaced repetition like Anki or Duolingo to keep it in memory. We created an experimental feature that predicts a future career by analyzing Youtube preferences. Our main goal is to help young people find their passion. Every teenager we spoke to mentioned Youtube as a learning source. Suddenly we realized that YouTube contains all information about interests, learning history, and answer search, underneath which lies their unique purpose. This course was intended for ages 7 and up, including adults. I really tried to make the material accessible to everyone, and hopefully not be too boring, while it establishes a solid foundation for learning anything else. If you do watch it, let me know if it is helpful in getting a solid foundation! My background: Before I got full-time into software development, I was doing a Ph. D in math at NYU. I thought YouTube needed something like this.

Answer the question "Before I die, I want to..." and post it to the wall. I built this as part of a journaling app I’m working on as a side project. Personally I find life goals fascinating - they're the things we think will make us feel the happiest and the most fulfilled, yet often people think they won't achieve them. I have tried to make it feel atmospheric with the goal of making you stop and think about your own life for a second.
