We now write most of our code with agents. For a while, PRs piled up, causing review fatigue, and we had this sinking feeling that standards were slipping. Consistency is tough at this volume. I’m sharing the solution we found, which has become our main product. Continue (https://docs.continue.dev) runs AI checks on every PR. Each check is a source-controlled markdown file in `.continue/checks/` that shows up as a GitHub status check. They run as full agents, not just reading the diff, but able to read/write files, run bash commands, and use a browser. If it finds…

Hey HN, I'm Marcel from Tusk. We’re launching Tusk Drift, an open source tool that generates a full API test suite by recording and replaying live traffic. How it works: 1. Records traces from live traffic (what gets captured) 2. Replays traces as API tests with mocked responses (how replay works) 3. Detects deviations between actual vs. expected output (what you get) Unlike traditional mocking libraries, which require you to manually emulate how dependencies behave, Tusk Drift automatically records what these dependencies respond with based on actual user behavior and maintains recordings…

Hey HN, We’re two developers (co-founders) with a team of 20 who got tired of spending hours reviewing PRs, so we built Infinitcode.ai, an AI-powered code reviewer that: - *Summarizes PRs in plain English*: No more deciphering 1,000-line diff jungles - *Catches more than bugs*: Security holes, performance pitfalls, code smells, even typos (yes, we’ll flag “vurnerabilities” and vulnerabilities) - *Zero onboarding*: Works instantly—no “let me learn your codebase for weeks” nonsense. Why we’re posting: We’re in alpha and need brutal honesty. Roast our tool, mock our UI, or tell us why AI will…

Hey HN! I built Retain as the evolution of claude-reflect (github.com/BayramAnnakov/claude-reflect). The original problem: I use Claude Code/Codex daily for coding, plus claude.ai and ChatGPT occasionally. Every conversation contains decisions, corrections, and patterns I forget existed weeks later. I kept re-explaining the same preferences. claude-reflect was a CLI tool that extracted learnings from Claude Code sessions. Retain takes this further with a native macOS app that: - Aggregates conversations from Claude Code, claude.ai, ChatGPT, and Codex CLI - Instant full-text…

I kept generating slide decks about my codebases with an agent, and weeks later they would go stale. Updating them was quite costly (time & tokens), as the agent would have to re-scan the whole repo to re-generate the slides. So I made the slide deck carry its own provenance: SlideOps skill turns a repo into a slide deck, with all references to files carrying exact line range and a hash. Checking is done with standard-library Python: no model calls, no network, and very fast. For example, it distinguishes MOVED (the code shifted) from CHANGED (the content differs). Updating the slides costs…
