24 alternatives to Emacs minor mode for connecting assembly and assembled code buffers

I made a little emacs minor mode for connecting assembly code and assembled code buffers I'm really fascinated by the idea of demystifying an operating system, so to be able to view the alignment between code and data I find really satisfying

This Emacs minor mode allows developers to view assembly source code and compiled machine code side-by-side in connected buffers. It is designed for programmers who want to understand the relationship between their… Below are 24 products that do a similar job, ranked by how close each is in meaning and then by launch-day votes. After having cycled through various CLI-based todo apps, I started to realise that I actually don’t need a tool at all for managing my todos. Most of the time, my use cases are quite simple, like viewing my todo items, checking them off, or adding a new one. Rather than having to memorise CLI commands for these interactions (which I’m not super good at), I figured that it’s easier for me to use my text editor directly, and have an editor plugin help me with the visual structure and some convenience functionality. So, kind-of similar to Emacs Org Mode, but without having to use Emacs. I…

I have noticed a decline in my programming skills, and wondered why I couldn't use AI as a pair programmer. Why can it watch what I'm doing over my shoulder and suggest changes? That way I can struggle through problems still and actually learn something. Results have been good so far :)

Hi all! I'm going into my freshman year, and figured that the best way to prepare for the intro to programming Racket course would be to implement my own garbage-collected, dynamically typed, functional programming language in C ;) Anyways... here's the repo: https://github.com/liam-ilan/crumb I started learning C over the summer, so I still have a whole lot to learn... Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! :D

I like to use org files a lot, but I wanted some way to browse and edit them on my phone when I'm out. Yesterday I used Codex to make this simple one-file web server that just displays all my org files with backlinks. It doesn't have any authentication because I only run it on my wireguard VPN. I've been having fun with it, hopefully it's useful to someone else!
