we've been working on a KV store for the past year or so which is 2-6x faster than Redis (benchmark link below) yet disk persisted! so you get the speed of in-memory KV stores but with disk persistence. Keeper is an embeddable secret store (Argon2id, XChaCha20-Poly1305 by default). Four security levels, audit chains, crash-safe rotation. Vault is overkill for most use cases. This is for when you ge paranoid about env and need encrypted local storage that doesn't suck. No security through obscurity, hence, It's still early, so now's the best time to find weird edge cases, race conditions, memory leaks, crypto misuse, anything that breaks. Hi HN. This is a project I've been building for the last month. It's a macOS postgres client that uses your OpenAI key to generate and immediately execute queries against your database locally on your machine. I imagine the user being someone familiar with SQL and able to identify errors in the generated code, but regularly needs to write queries to answer relatively simple questions. erlmacs automatically configures and updates your .emacs file with support for the emacs mode that is included with Erlang/OTP. It frees you from having to locate the installation directory of Erlang/OTP and its bundled emacs mode. It is an escript that only depends upon Erlang/OTP and Emacs. Note: There is not much in the way of error checking at this moment, but it does make a backup of your .emacs files before any destructive operations.
