Products that do what Exosphere, Entrepreneurial Learning Community in Latin America does
Hi guys, I'm evangelist of Exosphere[1], an awesome startup based in Santiago, Chile. We want to solve the problem of education for life, empowering people with entrepreneurial skills so they can grow themselves as citizens of 21st century and create great and impactful projects. Alongside, we want to build a community of really high-level entrepreneurs, surrounded by mentors with real-world experience and with a lot of economic[2], geographical[3] and governmental[4] incentives in order to make a huge must-go hub in Latin America and shape the future of this century. Right now, we're…

I couldn't find a simple way to explore the Brazilian startup ecosystem geographically, as I can in other places like the Bay Area or London, so I built one. The map currently includes hundreds of startups from Sao Paulo and their job opportunities. The most interesting thing I've learned so far is how clustered startup activity is in a handful of areas. I'd love to hear your thoughts. The EN version: https://www.startupsbr.com/sao-paulo

Hey guys, we just launched a platform to match top startups with high end projects. We're focused on supporting startups that would rather take on a short term consulting gig than raising a round of funding. We'd love some feedback. Thanks!

My name is Nelly Cheboi. I am the co-founder of https://techlitafrica.org, an organization that fosters a more technologically literate Africa by building computer labs in African schools. I was raised in Mogotio, Kenya, in abject poverty. At nine years old, I collected wild vegetables on my way from school to cook for my younger sister. The only way I knew out was by studying. So I studied. I studied hard. And I ended with a full-ride scholarship to Augustana College, IL. I was majoring in Chemistry before I discovered computer science my junior year of college. I loved it. With…

Over the last year, me and my co-founder have been working on a startup that provides a marketplace for what we call "self-guided tour itineraries". The best way to understand it is to have a look, here is an example: http://www.unanchor.com/itinerary/view/149 We just did our public launch today - it would be great to get your feedback on it. Be blunt, we can handle it :)

I am a founder of Grenadehub.com, a platform that helps you find remote developers from Poland and Ukraine. Those are one of the best European engineers with great English. My platform started a few months ago and we are helping companies find devs in a few days. If you are looking for a developer, please check our service and we will help you find a developer! I am also looking for a feedback since our service is a new venture. What do you think? If you have any questions, let me know! email: [email protected]

Hey! Wanted to showcase this project I’ve been passionately working on. It’s an open source community platform built with the nextjs app router. There’s lots of cool features, but the main one I’m excited about is the gamification. There’s a badge and inventory system. Admins can set value to user actions like creating a post. Then a user can use their accumulated points to purchase items that have modifiers on things like your username or avatar. There’s zero vendor lock in and all you need is a: - redis server - s3 storage - smtp server Built with nextjs and prisma. Would love your…

I'm a Computer Science student who loves creating things. Even though university is tough, I always make time for personal projects. Yesterday, I launched my first website that aims to help startup founders find their ideal team members and, at the same time, assist individuals in joining projects that align with their skills and interests. There are also a ranking of the most popular startups and some filters you can use to search what you are looking fot

Hey HN, I created an all-in-one platform to help job seekers build their resume, track job applications, and prepare for interviews. I built this mainly because the current tools for job seekers pale in comparison to the tools recruiters use to field candidates. Would love to know what you think!

Hey HN, All our startup friends are having trouble finding good engineers to hire, while some of our friends who work at big companies are looking for new challenges. But they don't read HN or TC. They don't know where to start looking. So we put together a place for the best opportunities. We'd love some feedback, ideas or suggestions... Some people call us "The Ashley Madison of Job sites".
