Products that do what Exponential CMS 6.0.11 – PHP 8.5 Support for a CMS Born in the 1990s does
Today we’re releasing *Exponential CMS 6.0.11*, the latest release in the *Exponential CMS 6.0.x series*, formerly known as *eZ Publish 6*. Exponential CMS is a *GPL-licensed PHP CMS originally created in the late 1990s*, designed from the start for Object Oriented Enterprise-scale content modeling, structured content, and long-lived systems. The software lineage includes eZ Publish, with *Exponential CMS 6.0.x continuing the eZ Publish 6 codebase under active maintenance and development*. While many platforms from that era disappeared or rewrote themselves into something unrecognizable,…

Hey all, As a CEO of a growing startup I don't get to code as often as I like and when I do, I try not to annoy my team with my terrible code :) So to scratch the itch, I've built some of side projects related to what our company does. The latest is embedcurl.com I see a lot of API docs and blogs posting curl commands that are really hard to read and I figured I could make them easier to read and add some niceties like easier copy/paste, tooltips on flags, etc. They also gracefully degrade if javascript isn't enabled back to a element. The parsing is done in Python with shlex and…

Hey folks, I just wanted to share a quick script I threw together called notational ls. One of the big problems of any code base (or any filesystem) is that it's hard to tell what's what - folder and file names often trade brevity for clarity. So I thought about a version of `ls` that works like this: > nls web: Where python web server files are stored ad_hoc: One time scripts ios: Our IOS code images Adding descriptions is really easy too: > nls images Images SHARED between both ios and web web: Where python web server files are stored ad_hoc: One time scripts ios: Our IOS code…

The eno notation language[1] now also has an official PHP library: https://eno-lang.org/php/ It features the same API and featureset as the JavaScript / Python / Ruby libraries, and also comes with the same extensive testsuite that has been growing during implementation of the other libraries, with already well over 90% coverage at the time of release. Happy to hear your feedback and answer any questions! [1] A user-friendly format for file-based content: https://eno-lang.org/

After ~1.5+ yrs of posting here (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=18755996) about webgo, this is an update, the release of v4.0.7. I know a lot of people consider "web frameworks, router etc." a joke/amateur/reinventing the wheel. But I've been able to learn a lot from it and am happy maintaining this package. Hope you like it! Webgo maintains its promise of standard library compliance, and getting out of the execution path asap. And this version comes with quite a lot of performance improvement in terms of latency, memory usage and better code altogether.…

I built a minimal opensource CMS, I use it myself for my blog and for other SaaS. l love blogging, and sometimes I post random thoughts on my blog. The only thing is, I always did it with .md files, which is fine too However, I was excited about the idea of using a CMS that was very minimal and avoiding the option of connecting something like WordPress or other big platforms. Open source (if you want to fork it or contribute) and free to use (unless I see you have a million views haha). Star the repo if you like it!

I couldn't find a CMS that met all my needs, so I built this prototype. It works for my purposes. I'm curious if anyone else finds it interesting or useful. If there's enough interest, I may continue working on it. Feedback welcome!
