24 alternatives to Find My Moat
I kept losing track of all the random tools i use for investing research; from screeners to niche data sites. so i started collecting them in one place: findmymoat.com. it’s just a simple directory right now, but the idea is to make it easier to discover and compare tools (fundamental, quant, options, whatever). curious if others find this useful, and if you have favorite tools i should add.

Hello HN crowd. I worked on this project on weekends and evenings. I'm excited I made it into a presentable MVP, and it is so satisfying. I would like to get some honest feedback from this great community. I made https://freeoptionscreener.com/, to scratch a personal itch. I myself trade options as a hobby, and I didn't find a screener that satisfies my need to be able to explore raw options data freely and without preset constraints. So I made this app that allows playing with options market data and extract interesting opportunities. The techs used: - Laravel + Jquery +…

We built this database using the same software investors use to discover startups. My friends and I really wanted to know which startups to work for. Are we on the right track? PS - there's a paywall but if you want to explore more, just DM me your email and I'll send you a free access code! Thank you so much.

I built a one-page tool to speed up my stock research workflow. You type a ticker, and it gives you quick links to 20+ research tools, like FinViz, TradingView, SEC EDGAR, Yahoo Finance, Seeking Alpha, Reddit etc. And each deep link is pre-loaded with that ticker. Nothing fancy. Just got tired of typing the same ticker into 6 different sites every time I wanted to dig into a company. Built with Next.js, Prisma, and Tailwind. Would love feedback on what tools to add or how to make it more useful. Example: https://finstack.pro/t/GOOGL

hey y'all -- can you please tell us if our job search tool sucks? :D we built it using an investor platform called Harmonic.ai to gather startup data, then contextualize it so that job seekers could find out about the most exciting startups hiring first (like if they just raised, growing headcount fast, have an ex-unicorn founder, etc). pretty sure we're the first platform doing anything like this. anyway, let me know what you think. really excited to launch this thing soon! getting feedback from the hn community first is really fun :)
