After accidentally nuking the production database of my last side project, I wished I had used dev/prod environments with automated DB backups. When I looked for a SaaS template to start over with integrated dev/prod environments, I couldn’t find one. So I decided to build it myself. To help speed up the setup, I also built Bash and PowerShell scripts to guide users through the process. The current stack is Next.js, Firebase, and Stripe. However, I’m considering writing some Terraform modules for GCP resources to further speed up setup and provide more flexibility for power users.…

We spent the past few weeks building Supaglue (https://github.com/supaglue-labs/supaglue) and would like to share an early public alpha version with you. Supaglue is an open source platform to help developers build customer-facing Salesforce integrations into their applications. Use code to define syncs for pulling objects from Salesforce into your application. Embed functional and customizable React components for your customers to configure these syncs. Why? - We built user-facing HubSpot and Salesforce integrations in a previous product we worked on and did not find an…

I built bknd because I was tired of stitching together auth, file storage, and database APIs every time I started a new project. Existing solutions were either too hard to extend, too basic, or required a separate deployment. bknd runs directly inside your frontend app — no separate backend required. It works with Next.js, Remix, Astro, React Router. It also runs standalone on Cloudflare Workers, AWS Lambda, Bun, or Node. It supports Postgres, LibSQL (Turso), D1, SQLite and has adapter-based storage. You get instant APIs, multi-strategy auth, media handling and a built-in Admin UI. Curious…

Hi HN! I've been building ReadyKit, an open-source SaaS boilerplate that handles all the hard parts: multi-tenant workspaces, Stripe billing, OAuth + MFA authentication, and a production-ready stack. Built with Python/Flask, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Vue 3, it's designed for indie makers and teams who want to ship SaaS products fast. Clone, configure your OAuth and Stripe keys, and you're running in 5 minutes. Features include automatic query scoping for workspace isolation, audit logs, role-based access, and a modern UX kit. MIT licensed and free forever. GitHub:…
