I'd like to share a project I've been working on for the past few months. It's a distributed workflow engine written entirely in Go. Some highlights: * Tasks are executed in a Docker container * Can run stand-alone or distributed * Highly extensible * Able to enforce limits (CPU/RAM) per task * Web UI Would love the get your feedback on it, and find out if this could be useful.

I've been building a bunch of random side projects, as I'm sure we all are. Most analytics tools were either too heavy or required juggling multiple free tiers across different subdomains. After looking what's out there I couldn't find a lightweight analytics platform that worked on the free tier of fly.io. It's a single Go binary using DuckDB for events and SQLite for metadata, so there are no external dependencies to manage. Drop a script tag on your site and it auto-captures pageviews and clicks. The part I'm most excited about: it uses an LLM to automatically name raw click events into…

I've built a type-safe semantic layer in code, for ClickHouse. If you're building analytics off ClickHouse in TypeScript, I would love your feedback. With hypequery there is no platform to adopt, no YAML sprawl. It runs where your app runs. Key features: - Define metrics once, reuse them everywhere: Declare dimensions and measures in one place and then pull from the same source of truth. - Compiles to ClickHouse SQL: No service, no proxy, no extra runtime to deploy. It's a library that generates SQL and runs where your app runs. - Multi-tenancy & Authentication ready: Cross-tenant queries…

Hi HN, I'm Martin from Codehooks / RestDB. Today I’m excited to share Codehooks Analytics, an open-source web analytics tool designed to help you track traffic and user interactions across your websites or applications—without relying on third-party services or cookies. After setup of the tracking script on your web site, it gives you full control over your raw data. What's included? - JS tracking script - for clicks and custom events - Front-end dashboard written using AlpineJS, TailwindCSS, DaisyUI - User authentication - so only you and your colleagues can use the dashboard - Backend…

I wanted to share something I've been working on recently: Statum, a handy web analytics tool. https://github.com/extractumio/statum The journey began when I found myself frequently needing simple web analytics for my projects. I tried Google Analytics, especially GA4, and realized it was quite complex and, at times, not very accurate, especially when I wanted to view stats for the current day or recent hours. Then I tested a few fancy startup solution but ended up with way too expensive plans the expect me to subscribe (I'm not that rich to pay $99/month for every…
