When cloning a repo, we kept hitting the same wall: no Dockerfile, no dev container, no clear path to running it. Asking an agent to fix it directly on your system is risky, as it can clear Docker config, change kernel settings, downgrade packages without warning. Keystone runs the agent inside a Modal sandbox with its own Docker daemon. It iterates until tests pass, then hands you a .devcontainer/ you can just check in. Now your repo knows how to run itself!

Hi HN, I built VAEN (an open source CLI) because I kept running into a boring problem with AI coding-agent workflows: the setup becomes useful, but then it is hard to move. A good, useful agentic harness consists of more than just instructions: skills, mcp servers and more. There should be a better way to share those than just .MD files, and that is why I created VAEN. I built this because I was tired of creating pull requests in 20 repositories just to change a single line of workflow job version. With Infra as AI, just mention the change. I spend a lot of time in Claude Code and Codex with my friend. We kept losing the context behind changes because every agent session lived on one person's laptop, and by the time code made it into a PR, all the reasoning was gone. We tried commits, PRs, and docs, but they only really capture the end result, so we built a tool to keep all of our agent sessions in one searchable place. Hi HN, I saw one friction point when working as part of a team that uses coding agents extensively - there is nothing to enable coordination between agent used by people in a team. Many times my agent would ask me to decide upon something with a fellow teammate, for which I have to serve as the network layer. Hi HN, I built agentspace because I kept seeing tmux recommended for keeping Claude Code sessions alive over SSH. I find multiplexers painful because they subtly change shell behavior in ways I always forget. They also do not offer a standardized way to run highly permissive agents in a safe way. I also tried worktrees, but it just feels awkward to manage work in that way.
