Ghostwheel is a Clojure development tool that provides specification and side effect detection capabilities. It helps developers write specifications for their code and traces side effects during execution. I built this because I was always creating machines on GH actions to test builds on different OS, and I wanted a tight CLI that could do it. I always saw Actions as this great resources and ephemeral machines you could do dev work in just were a natural way for me to work, so this grew out of that workflow. I didn't expect it to blow up, so it wasn't 100% finished when I posted it. But it should stabilize pretty quickly. Happy to know what you think and talk about it.

This project is inspired by some of the asserts in Unreal engine. Due to reliance on core_intrinsics it is necessary to develop using nightly Rust, but there are stubs in place so a production build will not require nightly. I recently released version 0.2 which includes no_std support and adds optional log message arguments to the ensure macro.

Hey guys, a couple of years ago I posted about MockMechanics, a visual programming language/sandbox building game that I've been working on and there was a very positive response [0]. Since then I've been implementing most of the things I promised in my first youtube video [1] and making it ready for an open source release and I'm happy to say it's ready [2]. I've also been building new things and showing them in the youtube channel. It's written in clojure and you can use it to create all sorts of machines, games, musical instruments, etc using little to no code at all. You've seen the…

Ladies and gentlemen of a Lisp persuasion, Clojurians and Clojuristas, followers of the paren and everyone else covetously eyeing the greener grass, I made an open-source thing that I would like to share with you. My elevator pitch is that it'll make you forget all about regular print debugging in 10 minutes straight. The slightly longer pitch is this: #>(tag'n'trace any Clojure(-Script) form to `tap>` and Portal with automatic last-input function replay on eval, instant re-render and hassle-free insertion of traced data into the REPL) And before I end up pasting half the README here in bits…

Hi HN! I've built [CXXStateTree](https://github.com/ZigRazor/CXXStateTree), a modern C++ header-only library to create hierarchical state machines with clean, intuitive APIs. It supports: - Deeply nested states - Entry/exit handlers - State transitions with guards and actions - Asynchronous transitions with `co_await` (C++20 coroutines) - Optional runtime type identification for flexibility It's ideal for complex control logic, embedded systems, games, robotics, and anywhere you'd use a finite state machine. I’d love feedback, use cases, or contributions from the…

I wrote this tool during an internship at Narf Industries in 2023. It's a REPL that allows for quickly developing, testing, and fuzzing for HTTP request smuggling attack payloads. I started the internship having never worked with web servers, and have now found over 100 HTTP implementation bugs. I attribute this mostly to the ease of experimentation in the Garden. REPL-oriented fuzzing is just a really good interface for finding parsing bugs. It's pretty neat to able to run a differential fuzzer, categorize and display all the discovered discrepancies, then let a human pick through them and…
