Since everyone seems to be making a github application, I thought I'd share mine. It's an aggregated view of all of a given person's github projects, as well as easyish lookups for linkedin/stackoverflow/hackernews. It attempts to determine both productivity (how much code did this person write?) as well as impact (did anyone care?) I'd love any feedback, but go easy on the number of simultaneous searches as I'm trying to play nice by github's api limits. check it -- http://www.gitalytics.com

http://giving.github.com A few weeks back, from a conversation around helping make the world a truly better place, we started a site where charities, organizations and those trying to make the world better could ask us programmers for help. I've setup a bulletin board for the HN community that only accepts registrations from HN users. The idea behind it is to allow members of the community to have open discussions with each other that would otherwise be regarded as off topic. Any and all feedback welcome. http://hnbb.org

Think of HackerNews, but only for AI content. Did build this out of the wish for easier discoverability of new technologies in the AI/ML space. Obviously, so far only a tiny small community, but maybe a few of you find it nice to be around and want to post a link there every now and then :)

Understanding any GitHub repository is tough, especially a big one - this project aims to make it a tad bit easier by giving the listener a primer + some details on the specific repository. For some people (like me) - audio/visual medium is more easily understandable. So, I hope this project is helpful to some of them. This project was inspired by https://gitdiagram.com - so check it out as well, and maybe use them together for better understanding. Future plans: 1. To add more voices and let users choose most natural one (decide between OpenAI/Microsoft Speech) 2. Custom…
