I built a tool that reveals the data your browser exposes automatically every time you visit a website. GitHub: https://github.com/neberej/exposedbydefault Demo: https://neberej.github.io/exposedbydefault/ Note: No data is sent anywhere. Everything runs in your browser.

Yes, it's open source: https://github.com/lissy93/web-check :) Why I'm building this? There are a lot of tools out there for discovering meta and security data relating to a website, IP or server. But currently, there isn't anything that does everything, all in one place and without a paywall/ user sign up. It's still a WIP, and I'm working on a new version, with some more comprehensive checks, so any feedback would be much appreciated :)

Hi HN, I'm Barry and I've built Prism.Tools (https://blgardner.github.io/prism.tools/) – a collection of client-side developer utilities that respect your privacy. Many of these tools were used way back in the days when I ran a BBS and started my communities first ISP, serving three local communities with Dial-Up Internet, Web Hosting etc. The tools have been refined to reflect the changes in tech since then and designed for the Novice and Pro alike. As I locate more tools others may find useful I will refine and add them to the collection. Use them, Share them, or not.…

Hello Folks, We've been building Browser Box as a platform to embed and stream remote browser's content. It is an early preview and we are sharing it with the HN community to get feedbacks. Remote Browser[1] is a demo built on top of it. Here we've tried to emulate a browser's view inside a browser tab. Do check it out and we'd love to read your thoughts here. 1. https://remote.bbx.dev/

I made FingerprinterJS, a small library with no dependencies that creates browser fingerprints from signals like canvas, WebGL, audio, fonts, userAgent, and screen info. It’s written in TypeScript, lets you enable/disable collectors, add custom data, and includes a simple suspicious-activity score. Would love feedback.

Hey HN, We’re Alex, Land, and Rajit. We’re building Prism (prismai.sh), a tool that helps browser agents authenticate onto websites with user credentials. Developers pass in credentials, Prism logs into a website on their behalf, and hands them back the cookies so they have an authenticated session. Here’s an example of how developers can use Prism to complete username/password flows (https://youtu.be/SEtVUnWnxuE), and here’s an example of how developers can use Prism to complete login flows that require an OTP code (https://youtu.be/fe9w9PvrwH0). We spoke…
