Products that do what GOLO, a simple personal project management app does
GOLO: http://getgolo.com To be honest, its a personal itch project. Reasoning behind the project is that I needed something extremely simple to do project management for very small teams (3-6). Golo has only 2 entities in a project: task-name & priority (0-1000). Use priority number to group tasks together and order them too. There is no concept of logins. An access link is emailed to you every time you request it including sign ups. The app has persistent sessions. Its not super secure by any standards and hence DO NOT put sensitive data in there. Its only for management purposes.…

Hi HN! This is Daniel from Floutwork (https://www.floutwork.com) Floutwork is an all-in-one desktop app designed to serve as a personal work system, offering a no-BS approach to getting real work done online. Background: When I transitioned from a development role to a product management role, I realized there was no real organization or structure to the way I worked as a PM. Tasks I needed to complete were scattered across emails, Teams, meetings, etc. I was inundated with emails and found myself juggling multiple browser windows, numerous open tabs, and other desktop…

Hello everyone! I left my job to start General Task a little over a year ago, and have been building a better free task manager with a small team. We aim to be the best place where one can find what’s next in their workday and we integrate with a number of different services to help do that. We’re still in the early stages of a beta, but so far you can: - Create/edit tasks with due dates, priorities, and folders - Drag tasks onto your calendar to block off time to do them (syncs with GCal) - Sync with Linear (JIRA coming soon) to see tasks assigned to you - Sync with Github to see your…

We built Gonzo to make log analysis faster and friendlier in the terminal. Think of it like k9s for logs — a TUI that can ingest JSON, text, or OpenTelemetry (OTLP) logs, highlight and boil up patterns, and even run AI models locally or via API to summarize logs. We’re still iterating, so ideas and contributions are welcome!

A dead-simple web app to find the best time for your next meetup with friends. No logins, no bloat. Schedule with a link. --- When trying to schedule events with my friends, we often have a long text thread of sporadic dates and the group has to mentally combine all the messages to produce a date that works for all. There are plenty of apps out there to coordinate scheduling, but I found many of them were bloated with features that didn't matter to us, required user sign ups and app downloads. This friction is enough for us to prefer rudimentary long text threads. I wanted something that I…
