Hey there I made a opensource alternative for these services. Although these worked very well, I was not so confident what they do. So I made my own and opensourced it. It is written in Golang and is fully customizable.

https://github.com/ncruces/go-sqlite3 was doing poorly on this benchmark that was posted yesterday to HackerNews [1]. With the help of some pprof, I was able to trace it to a serious performance regression introduced two weeks ago, and come up with the fix (happy to field questions, if you're interested in the nitty gritty). It's not the fastest driver around, but it's no longer the slowest: comfortably middle of the pack. It's based on a WASM build of SQLite, and thanks to https://wazero.io doesn't need CGO. [1]:…

No gc, No goroutines, Produces small binaries while using the unmodified official go toolchain, and comes with complete Web SDK (generated from w3c/webref). We are building `pcz` to provide a reimagination of Go the language, in an effort to make it suitable for all kinds of programming tasks, and currently you can use it to build efficient web applications in Go using the generated Web SDK (as shown with the live web demo[1]). The journey is just starting, any suggestions? or any critics? [1]: https://primecitizens.github.io/livedemos/10-plat-web/

I started thinking about this approach after working on a large-scale project for a major financial company where our group developed a distributed in-house data processing solution. On a regular basis, it ingested a few gigabytes of financial data and, within a tight SLA time limit, produced a lot of enriched/aggregated/validated data for a number of customers. Sometimes, source data had errors, so operators with domain knowledge had to verify data validity at some checkpoints, immediately make corrections, and re-run parts of the workflow manually. The solution involved complex…

I'd like to share a project I've been working on for the past few months. It's a distributed workflow engine written entirely in Go. Some highlights: * Tasks are executed in a Docker container * Can run stand-alone or distributed * Highly extensible * Able to enforce limits (CPU/RAM) per task * Web UI Would love the get your feedback on it, and find out if this could be useful.

Hi there, I've been working sporadically over the last six months on a go monorepo tool (0 config it just use go workspace and go convention). It’s basically like TurboRepo but without the task runner. The tool builds a dependency graph between packages, allowing you to do things similar to what you can do in TurboRepo, like "only test the packages and the packages that depend on them, compared to the main branch," or "only install dependencies for Package A and its dependencies," etc. I use native go tool to get dependencies and create dependency graph between the package.Nothing crazy but…

Generative AI applications pose a unique challenge in production. They are computationally intensive and orders of magnitude slower than traditional data-intensive applications. Scaling these applications is further complicated by expensive hardware requirements and GPU shortages. Consequently, developers are scrambling to implement home-grown caching and rate-limiting solutions, which are error-prone and difficult to get right. FluxNinja Aperture delivers a production-grade experience with a purpose-built load management platform that provides rate & concurrency limiting, caching, and…
