Author here, happy to answer questions about the tool. I've shared my motivations for writing the tool on the ReadMe page in GitHub, and I'll elaborate on this with a blog article in the coming week or two. Some background on the tool: HandyDash is a cross-platform HTTP, TCP, and IP monitoring tool, intended for desktop use. It is agent free, requires no installation, and saves all configuration to a single portable file. Simply unzip the package and run the executable, and within a few minutes you can view and edit nodes within the browser based UI. Thanks.

Yes, it's open source: https://github.com/lissy93/web-check :) Why I'm building this? There are a lot of tools out there for discovering meta and security data relating to a website, IP or server. But currently, there isn't anything that does everything, all in one place and without a paywall/ user sign up. It's still a WIP, and I'm working on a new version, with some more comprehensive checks, so any feedback would be much appreciated :)

I got tired of fighting through spammy tool sites just to do something simple, so I made Toolbrew in a few hours on Replit. Just a bunch of free little tools in one place. Text converters, SEO checks, video downloaders, that kind of stuff. No signups, no ads. If there is a tool you wish existed, you can request it on the site and I will build it. Do your worst. hey guys, wanted to show one of my side projects i just made public. the idea is basically another osint tool for pentesters and bug bounty hunters. it watches certificate transparency logs and checks newly-seen domains for exposed stuff like .env files, open .git dirs, config files, db dumps and so on, and puts whatever it finds into a searchable db. you just search a domain (or part of one) and see what's exposed. it's read-only and free. one thing i've been thinking about adding is a way to register for certain keywords and get notified when something new shows up for that search. would…

dish is a lightweight, 0 dependency monitoring tool in the form of a small binary executable. Upon execution, it checks the provided sockets (which can be provided in a JSON file or served by a remote JSON API endpoint). The results of the check are then reported to the configured channels.
