Dear HN community! Looking forward to hearing your feedback on ACE (assured confidential execution), technology that implements VM-based trusted execution environment (TEE) for embedded RISC-V systems with focus on a formally verified and auditable firmware. We target high-assurance systems that can benefit from compartmentalization and hardware-backed isolation. The key ingredient called security monitor (firmware) is implemented in Rust. The formal specification is defined as annotations directly in code and gets translated to Coq using RefinedRust automation. ACE design is now part of the…

Hey HN, we're Justin and Cole, the founders of Helicone (https://helicone.ai). Helicone is an open-source platform that helps teams build better LLM applications through a complete development lifecycle of logging, evaluation, experimentation, and release. You can try our free demo by signing up (https://helicone.ai/signup) or self-deploy with our new fully open-source helm chart (https://helicone.ai/selfhost). When we first launched 22 months ago, we focused on providing visibility into LLM applications. With just a single line of code, teams could…

Hello HN! We've been working on a new hypervisor https://kwarantine.xyz that can run strongly isolated containers. This is still a WIP, but we wanted to give the community an idea about our approach, its benefits, and various use cases it unlocks. Today, VMs are used to host containers, and make up for the lack of strong security as well as kernel isolation in containers. This work adds this missing security piece in containers. We plan on launching a free private beta soon. Meanwhile, we'd deeply appreciate any feedback, and happy to answer any questions here or on our slack…

Built this because I was tired of every AI tool shipping my data to someone else server n0x runs the full stack LLM inference via WebGPU, autonomous ReAct agents, RAG over your own docs, sandboxed Python execution via Pyodide all inside a single browser tab. No account No keys No backend Models download once, cache in IndexedDB permanently. Biggest challenge was context window budgeting for the agent loop and making the WASM vector search non-blocking. Happy to talk architecture. GitHub: https://github.com/ixchio/n0x | Live demo: https://n0x-three.vercel.app
