24 alternatives to Hiperyon
Problem: Switching between Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini meant losing all context. Every time I changed models, I had to start from scratch. Solution: I built Hiperyon, a Chrome extension that creates unified cross-LLM memory. You chat normally, and your context transfers instantly when you switch models. Impact: Save time when juggling multiple LLMs No more repeating the same prompts Faster, smarter interactions across tools About me: I’m 19 and a solo founder. Built this in 2 months because context-switching between LLMs was killing my productivity. Curious how you manage switching between…

Scroll▲93I kept losing ideas in long chats, so I built a tiny Chrome extension to make navigating between turns/prompts way easier. Idk why this isn't a native feature on all LLMs. Anyway, free and open source on GitHub or the Chrome Store. Hope it's helpful! Bindly▲76Hi HN, I’m a product designer by background, not a traditional software engineer. Over the last year, tools like Claude and ChatGPT completely changed how I work. I started with small internal tools, and now I’m “vibe coding” multiple highly personalized apps. As I iterated between Claude Code (implementation) and ChatGPT (ideation / thinking), I kept running into the same problem. To think clearly, I had to repeatedly re-explain: - what the code currently does, - what changed recently, - and why certain decisions were made. That re-summarization step became a real bottleneck. So I…

Author here. I wanted to keep my conversation with #Gemini about code handy while discussing something creative with #ChatGPT and using #DeepSeek in another window. I think it's a waste to have Electron apps and so wanted to chat with LLMs on my own terms. When I discovered the llm CLI tool I really wanted to have convenient and pretty looking access to my conversations, and so I wrote gtk-llm-chat - a plugin for llm that provides an applet and a simple window to interact with LLM models. Make sure you've configure llm first (https://llm.datasette.io/en/stable/) I'd…

I keep running in the same problem of each AI app “remembers” me in its own silo. ChatGPT knows my project details, Cursor forgets them, Claude starts from zero… so I end up re-explaining myself dozens of times a day across these apps. The deeper problem 1. Not portable – context is vendor-locked; nothing travels across tools. 2. Not relational – most memory systems store only the latest fact (“sticky notes”) with no history or provenance. 3. Not yours – your AI memory is sensitive first-party data, yet you have no control over where it lives or how it’s queried. Demo video:…

Twigg▲157Hi HN, we’re Jamie and Matti, co-founders of Twigg. During our master’s we continually found the same pain points cropping up when using LLMs. The linear nature of typical LLMs interfaces - like ChatGPT and Claude - made it really easy to get lost without any easy way to visualise or navigate your project. Worst of all, none of them are well suited for long term projects. We found ourselves spending days using the same chat, only for it to eventually break. Transferring context from one chat to another is also cumbersome. We decided to build something more intuitive to the ways humans think.…

Hey HN! We're Deshraj and Taranjeet. We've been building working on a startup called Mem0, building an open-source memory layer for AI apps and agents (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=41447317). We also kept running into our own daily frustrations with AI assistants forgetting everything between conversations. Over a weekend, we decided to hack together a Chrome extension to solve this for ourselves. The problem was simple: we were constantly re-explaining our context across platforms when switching between ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity. Start a coding discussion in…

I'm lost between ChatGPT vs Claude vs Gemini... which subscriptions to take? With Cursor and all these specific AI tools, I just wanted one simple chat app where I can use any model and pay only when I use it. Couldn't find one, so I built one. Pay only for what you use. Your prompts and docs, knowledge bases work with every model - no more copy-pasting between apps. Started as a personal project, but thought someone else might benefit from this too. https://prismharmony.com/chat What do you think?

Hi HN! I built LLM OneStop (https://www.llmonestop.com), a unified interface for accessing multiple AI language models in one place. The main problem I wanted to solve: constantly switching between different AI platforms, managing multiple subscriptions, and losing conversation context when comparing outputs across models. Key features: Switch between GPT-4, Claude, Gemini, Llama, and other models mid-conversation Compare responses side-by-side Single interface instead of juggling multiple tabs/subscriptions Free tier available to try it out (no credit card needed) "Connect"…

any-llm is a library that provides unified access to multiple LLM providers. switching between providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral, and even Ollama is just a string change. This demo makes it easy to look at and compare responses from different models. Interesting to see how ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and local models each reason through the same problems. Let us know what you think!

I kept running into this annoying problem: I’d remember a really useful answer, but not where it was. ChatGPT? Claude? Gemini? No idea. So I’d end up digging through all of them or just rewriting the prompt. Built this to fix that. It’s a Chrome extension that indexes chats locally and lets you search across them all in one place. Once it’s indexed, search is basically instant. Still early. UIs change and break things sometimes, so it’s a bit fragile in places. Curious if other people have the same issue or if it’s just me jumping between tools too much.
