Products that do what I made a collaborative ASCII editor does
I made a website for drawing ascii art with other people https://ascii-collab.app/ It's been online for a little over a year so there's a fair bit of stuff to browse if you want to look around (so much that I even made a poster https://ascii-collab.app/poster.png) There are other websites like yourworldoftext that do this but ascii-collab has some extra features like per-user undo/redo, box selection, a color highlight mode to see who made particular changes, and there's admin tools so I can remove spam. The code is open sourced here…

I blew off a bunch of "serious" side work last month and built a tiny little embeddable editing tool that I've wanted to have for Ars Technica since, well, the beginning of internet time. It lets any random user make edit suggestions for writers/editors to consider and act on. I think it's pretty cool and it's gotten some good use over the last few weeks. Of note, it's uses a single-field signup form. Edit administration is currently email based, so all it needs is an email address to get people going. I'm sure I'm not the only person to ever do this, but I basically just turned it on one…

Hi, I wanted to share with You our project (https://comparere.io). We have built a website for comparing graphics and designs. The concept is simple, you have to just drag'n drop two designs you are having trouble to pick from. The idea has emarged when we stumbled across many different facebook groups for graphic designers, where they used to sometimes ask the community for help to decide which design is better. I had similar problem too. Hopefully this tool will help graphic/ux designers build/create projects that will appeal to more audiences. We are looking forward to…

Hi there! I'm building Diagrammatic, a simple and free online tool with the ambition to become a community for diagrams-as-code enthusiasts. Currently, it supports Mermaid, PlantUML, Dot (Graphviz), Vega-Lite, and Typogram, but I'm looking to add more languages. Please let me know if there's a particular one you use. I'd appreciate any kind of constructive feedback as well. Thanks in advance!
