Products that do what I made yet another AI chat bot because I hate monthly subscriptions does

I was tired of paying monthly subscriptions for all my AI tools and I wanted to pay just for what I use so I combined the AI chats I use to create my own chat - MyChat (pun intended) MyChat is an all-in-one chat bot that has a pay-as-you-go business model. The tech stack I used was NextJS, TypeScript, MongoDB, Clerk, TailwindCSS, ShadCN, Stripe, the OpenAI API hosted on Hostinger with Coolify. The code base is currently around 3500 lines of code. (About 500 of them are redundant code) The web app itself is not complicated the only complex thing in it is the math that's mapping the different…

I made this experimental art project/game that's an LLM chat assistant, but where you're the AI. I wanted people to get a visceral sense of what it's like to answer the kinds of things that people prompt their chatbots day in and day out. If you're interested, I wrote up some more info on how I made it, including how the "user" prompts are generated with an eye for realism: https://bethechatbot.com/about Hope you enjoy it! I'd love to hear people's takeaways.

Hello HackerNews, We're excited to introduce you to our latest project, Elephant.ai. It's a custom chatbot builder that utilizes the incredible power of OpenAI's ChatGPT to create intelligent, responsive, and knowledgeable chatbots for any website. With Elephant.ai, you can train an AI chatbot using your website's data. This means your chatbot won't just respond with pre-programmed answers, it will have an in-depth understanding of your content. It can answer any question a visitor might have about your site and even provide the source URL for its answer. Think of it as a 24/7 digital…

Hi HN, I built ChatOne while working on a project and constantly switching between AI models like GPT-4 and newer ones like Claude 3.5. I kept wondering if I was missing out on better answers, so I created ChatOne to get responses from multiple models at once and compare them easily. -Teddy

I'm a solo founder building AMA2, a messaging runtime made for AI agents. This is my first Show HN, so I'd really appreciate your feedback. What brought me this idea: At first, I was building an AI agent for solo creators that knows everything about you and can do business chore on your behalf. When I tried to plug it into normal chat tools like Telegram, Discord, Slack... , they all felt wrong for agents: 1. They don't care about an agent's context. To follow a thread, the agent has to pull the whole history every time. 2. Giving each agent its own account is painful. If you have (or will…

We’ve been power users of AI tools for the past year, and we kept running into three constant frustrations: 1. Too many subscriptions – Paying separately for OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, and others quickly adds up. 2. Losing memory & context – Switching between models or platforms means you start over each time. 3. Privacy concerns – With most closed-source models, your data may be stored or used for training. That’s not acceptable for sensitive or professional use cases. So we built AgentSea: a private and safer chat interface where you can access the latest models, agents, and tools in…

Hi HN, We're launching CoChat, which extends OpenWebUI with group chat, model switching, and side-by-side comparison. What makes it different: CoChat is designed for teams working with AI. - Group chat with AI facilitation. Multiple users collaborate in the same thread. The AI detects group discussions, tracks participants, and facilitates rather than dictates. - Switch and compare models. Run GPT, Claude, Mistral, Llama, and others side-by-side or switch mid-conversation. - Intelligent web search. Context-aware search activates only for real-time information. - Artifacts and tool calls.…

Hi everyone, nice to meet you and I am a newcomer of HN. I have made a binary tool Aih that could communicate with Bard, ChatGPT, Claude, and Llama(HuggingChat) from the terminal. https://github.com/Databingo/aih Since CAPTCHA challenges and bots detecting have become increasingly difficult, I've changed my strategy from hacking the APIs to simulating a real browser's action. The tool first takes the logged-in cookies of Google, ChatGPT, Claude, and HuggingChat accounts from the real Chrome browser, then it opens an invisible instance of Chromium for communication, then…

Hey guys, I left my PM job in December to learn how to code. The plan, - Build something that "I" could build with my background (I haven't studied CS) - Something that already existed and I used so I didn't have to spend time finding PMF Over the past 4 months I've been building howsthisgoing.com (a standup bot for slack with AI summaries). My ex-employed signed up in May & I got another customer through a university batchmate sometime in June (the company he's working at). However, since then it's mostly been 0 new customers, I get roughly 6-10 views on my site daily. The bot and my…
