Ever wanted to create your own picture book? Introducing Mr. Seuss! Just input images of your protagonist and a basic storyline and he'll produce a (funny but weird) picture book for you using AI. The linked colab uses GPT-J to generate a story and Dreambooth Stable Diffusion to generate relevant pictures to the story. I like the idea of taking one thing and turning it into another—very much inspired by NotebookLM and wondered what it might take to generate full graphic novels, with consistent characters, narrative flow, story arc, etc. Developed a 7-pass scripting enrichment system (beat analysis, adaptation filtering, character deep dives) before generating any images. Dual backend: Google Gemini for scripting (2M context window) and either Gemini or OpenAI for image generation with 3-tier model fallback (comparing the performance of both). It's not great. Would love feedback on the pipeline.

Been in the AI image gen space since 2023, before even GPT image gen was a thing, and after spending ~9K on Facebook ads for my own projects (made a video about that actually) I realized the thing I kept getting stuck on was the creatives themselves.
