24 alternatives to IAMRICHER

Hi HN, I built a small experiment called iamthericher.com There is always only one “Richer”. To take the title, you pay $1 more than the previous person. If no one takes it for 14 days, it resets. There’s no utility, no product, no link placement, no ads. Just status, ego, and curiosity. I wanted to see if people would pay for something that openly does nothing. Feedback welcome.

Below are 24 products that do a similar job, ranked by how close each is in meaning and then by launch-day votes. Prices are shown for the 1 we have checked on their own sites.

Here's the problem: I launched two products. I wrote blog posts. I posted on X, built in public. I tried running ads. And you know what actually got me customers? Replying to someone on Reddit who asked, "What's the best tool for this?" One reply. Three signups. I felt like an idiot for not doing it sooner. But here's the issue: I don't have time to refresh Reddit all day looking for these posts. I have products to build. Bugs to fix. Emails to answer. Life to live. So I built Overlead to do the searching for me. Overlead scans Reddit, Quora, and Hacker News (and many more to come) for…

I haven't seen anything like this so I decided to build it in a weekend. How it works: You see a bunch of things pulled from Wikipedia displayed on cards. You ask yes or no questions to figure out which card is the secret article. The AI model has access to the image and wiki text and it's own knowledge to answer your question. Happy to have my credits burned for the day but I'll probably have to make this paid at some point so enjoy. I found it's not easy to get cheap+fast+good responses but the tech is getting there. Most of the prompts are running through Groq infra or hitting a cache…

I saw a tiktok the other day where it said there should be a website where wealthy individuals, unsure of how to spend their money, can fulfill the wishes of poor people. They could compete with other wealthy donors on a global leaderboard based on their contributions. And I made it in 4 days on cloudflare ecosystem using serverless.

Hey, guys and girls :) Please notice, that my intention is not to advertise my project here, but to ask for your advice. Long story short: we've noticed that it's very hard to "sum-up" any idea on one page and share it without using a blogging platform. Let's say you want to collect and present your point of view on "IA reaserch". You can write a blogpost or use social media to share your opinion (that would reach limited amount of people though). We really missed a tool that allows you to embed a lot of different resources on one page and than to share it with one link. This way you can…

    Onepard▲14

I built Onepard that makes any kind of content instantly interactive. Paste your content (docs, notes, FAQs) Share the link People can ask it questions in a chat interface Why? Most content just sits unread - docs, FAQs, notes. I wanted a way to make it usable in seconds without setup or code. Demo: https://demo.onepard.com/ Right now it’s very MVP - free tier with limits, paid tiers for higher usage. I’d love your feedback: Who do you think this is most useful for? What’s missing that would make it worth paying for? Any sharp edges in the UX? Thanks

I don't normally do this but after submitting this through the usual mechanism and having it quickly vanish off the New list, I figured it was worth a shot. * I do not have any affiliation with this site * These guys need and deserve our support. The work they are doing is pretty outstanding, the amount of quality content is incredible. The site itself is well designed, clean and top-notch. The content is truly outstanding. They are also doing it right, IMO - aka no ads at all - and entirely donation driven. Hence this post... check them out, and hopefully toss them a dollar if you find it…

For years, I have struggled to understand my cash flow and save for the future. In addition to that, my wife has many credit cards and accounts that complicate matters. I am building a tool that connects all our accounts, helps us create a budget, and tracks and adjusts expenses on the fly. I am also sprinkling some AI magic on it for financial suggestions. I am looking for feedback on the implementation. More importantly, I am looking for more beta testers to improve the product.

https://ilovethatshirt.com I want to hear some feedback on why we might not be getting the conversions expected. We launched using a WordPress setup just to limit our risk on development (e.g. produce an MVP), so I would hope that is not the feedback (but if it is, so be it). Please be brutal as normal :) If we suck, we need to hear it. Thanks!

I'm trying to come up with a semi-stealth "about" for my newest project. The point is to give a little (clever) insight on the project, but not to give the farm away. Please let me know what you think... "Want to pay $34/month or get roped into a six month contract? We know the perfect match for you. But it's NOT us. Want to answer more than 400 pointless questions? We know a place that can give you such harmony. But it's NOT us. Want to join a site that's all about free and all about flakes? Hi there, So a buddy a couple of days ago came up with the idea for a new SaaS product regarding gpt and image generation. We did a quick MVP that barely works, it breaks almost 50% of the time but we still wanted to validate the idea before going all in. We have almost 1k followers on Twitter together. Did a quick post describing the idea with a stripe link in the comments with a 5$ value, no landing page, and no shipped product. In exchange, the buyers become beta users. Around 30 mins later we got our first sale next 30 mins another 5$ and so on. Do we consider the idea validated? The…

After testing it on some of my friends for a month, it is now ready for the world. One week ago, I launched a new directory, which is a curated list of useful and cool Mac apps and tools that are not available on the app store. Initially, I wasn't sure if it was a good idea, but I managed to create it in just one day. I started promoting it on Twitter and some communities, and although I got some views, I didn't make any sales. Then the next day, I wrote a post on a subreddit related to Mac apps about the directory I launched. People loved it so much, and I got 39k views on that post, leading to around 2.5k visitors on my site. Thanks to this exposure, I made my first 4…
