Hi everyone! I wanted to share my analytics app with you. This project came from requirements to track certain very frequent events. I found that the cost to do it on a regular analytics product was much more than i was willing to pay. Secondly, I also wanted to use as few resources as possible. So I thought it may be a good idea to create something that may be useful for myself (and hopefully others). TLDR: I made a public only web analytics without signup. Stores views and visitors for 10 days before deleting data. Exactly 25 days ago today I posted here, proud of my new web analytics. After months of using Google Analytics I realized only about 50% of people accepted my cookie-popup. I had months of incorrect data for my website. Hey HN, I built Lytics because other offerings don't let you compare dimensions (all functionality is crammed into a SPA) and I wanted segment-able click tracking with accurate heatmaps. Lytics uses the Quarkus web framework, clickhouse for the backend, and it has a query transpiler for the reports and heatmaps.
